Bang for your buck is perfect way to describe them and I find the castings to be generally more exciting than a lot of the ho hum Lambos and Porsches and Bimmers that MiniGT releases. I've never seen any Red Editions in Target. The distribution there seems to be irregular be it the company itself getting product on the pegs, or if it is issues farther back in the supply chain with the manufacturers and their distribution. With Johnny Lightning and Auto World, I think something might be amiss. I've seen models from 2022 and 2023 showing up this past year after I assumed I missed them somehow. They don't include the production numbers on the packages, and I am seeing some hugely discounted. Is it from fierce competition? Is the hobby losing steam? Or is the parent company focusing more on other products? I watch the youtube videos that Round2 Corporation posts at the beginning of each month, and the amount of new 1/64 product announcements has dwindled, but the length of the videos are about the same with focus on larger scale models, slot cars, and model kits. They gotta make a profit, I understand, but hopefully not at the expense of our beloved 1/64 scale models!!!!! They released some really nice vehicles this year, but apart from a prototype Pontiac Fiero, I haven't seen anything new coming down the pipeline other than recolors. Let's toast the health of Auto World (and the diecast hobby!) as we move into the new year. Paul, since you will be in 2025 before I am, can you tell me what the future will hold after you celebrate New Year's at midnight in the Philippines? Will new diecast cars still be plentiful the future?!!! It will be so exciting to hear from you as a time traveller while I am stuck in the previous year. Oh yeah, I am so in league with you on the Land-Rover Defender 130! I was thinking that HW was going to do the big daddy Defender, but they did the 110 in the Team Transport set. I don't like the graphics, but I'll buy one to customize then! Not sure about orange for the Morris Minor, but I've been collecting all variations. It really is an iconic car, but I guess some of the "cuteness" factor has long been overshadowed by the ubiquitous VW Beetle. I thought the MINI was an EV like the blue one that was recently released, or is this a different model / casting altogether? Yeah, the Ariya is a bit generic, although I'll pick one up. I thought blue was already released, however. I never saw a Porsche 356 on the pegs, but I would have passed because it is too large a scale. And, hah, the Bizarrini!!! I was actually thinking of that model today, its a great design and I have the red one, but I wasn't sure how soon it would reappear. Glad the chase is not something exciting to me!!! One less model to worry about finding in the wild! I only buy models that I find on the pegs, and never support eBay scalpers. There is no joy in opening a box compared to the pleasant surprise of finding a model on the pegs, I don't want to pay the park up and shipping, and I think it inflates prices unnaturally. Anyways, thank you, Paul!!! Much to look forward to seeing on the pegs soon!!!!!!

Daily Dose, I'm pretty sure that Pop Race may not have licenses for these vehicles. That's why they lack brand logos, however the models ship with decals.

That Pandem EG6 from Pop Race looks great, really nice livery and details. The "Castrol" R32, Aston Martin AMR23 F1 Car, Lancer Evo IV, Huracan STO look nice as well. Not too crazy about the color on the RWB 997 though, although it's a good casting. Usually the RWB Porsches don't have the Porsche shield on the hood, wich makes the model accurate as well. The HW "Red" Edition cars look interesting, '67 Chevy C10, Subaru Impreza WRX, Cadillac Fleetwood, Small Bloc, Shelby GT500 all look cool. Not many new Hot Wheels castings however yet, wich is a bit dissapointing. I wish you a Happy and healthy 2025 Paul!

Pop race 1/64 stepping up their game man, they got those opening parts, they better than mini gt 1/64 , kaido house 1/64 on the other hand Idk, I'm still gonna get that calsonic skyline then I'm gonna get that Castrol skyline, probably some other castings to from pop race 1/64 also, a lot of them can average $30 a pop on ebay so little expensive and they don't sell them were i live so end up having to buy them online. Awesome stuff

I can't be certain, but Porsche might have problem with the degree of customization on the car. They may have denied Pop Race the approval to put on official Porsche badges. They sometimes will deny having their name placed on a vehicle, real or otherwise if they decide that it's so far removed from what they intended it to be, that for them, it can no longer wear the Porsche badge. The custom Porsche company Singer, has gotten into it with Porsche before for similar reasons. RWB , I'm not sure about. Lastly, there's nothing Porsche could do to stop some private person from slapping a Porsche badge on their Fiat 500, because the car is privately owned and modified by the owner. If that owner were to sell the vehicle, then they would have to remove the badging, or at least tell the prospective buyer that it, the Fiat 500, was not made by Porsche. You see, it's all about profit and reputation.😊

I really like the new Hot Wheels red edition cars except for the one fantasy one they're making for next year.

Big fan of the Batman series. especially when they use the Hot Wheels original castings. Loving the Barbaric's return. Also got the 2024 Halloween set. It looks really good in those Metal grey shades. Batmobile in white looks great. Not a big fan of Rapid Responder since it turned into plastic body. Love Muscle Tone, but the Wonder Woman tampo looks kinda campy. Bat Plan looks good. I'm still hunting for that batman 10 pack set. You are right the newer cars coming out are very generic looking. Especially the gen E cars. which means Hot Wheels will make a lot of generic looking licensed castings in the years to come. That's why I welcome any original looking casting Hot Wheels produces. That Bizzarinni looks beautiful in blue. Is there a Mainline version of it? Thankxs for the showcase.

Porsche 356 easy fav of this episide. I like the Bizzarrini also. But, I have the red version and not sure I need the blue.

I wish matchbox would release a Wagons III but I’m not sure they have the castings for it. The electric drivers is unique because the white holder is made out of biodegradable material, not plastic.

Pretty good HW Diorama set, the Porsche 934.5 and the GR Supra are my most favorites here.The GCD Tacomas look cool with the snow tyres and it's nice that you can switch the tyres. Some interesting Matchbox 5-packs shown here, although most of the castings are re-issues. MBX Retro II, Porsche Heroes and Japan Heroes II are my most favorite sets (the orange car in the "Road Cruisers II" set is the 1979 Chevy Nova). Thanks for the update.
