There are a few things that would speed it up but it is indeed task. Could be quicker but allow a full day or you may get stuck being late for something, I also would book and alignment appointment in advance with a reputable front end shop, not a tire store with 20 year olds doing the work if possible. Correct just dropped the bars. I did have to cut the kick stand off 1" just below the spring attachment and re-weld it be sure and mark with a scribe or something to keep the "foot" of the kickstand in proper alignment with the ground. Most muffler shops could cut the inch off and reweld it for you very inexpensively, if you have no access to such tools

Legally they say no and I have had mine in for service at the Chevy dealer and never has anything been said. However if I had a warranty claim to make I would take the 20 minutes to swap the throttle body and MAF sensor before taking it in. The cold air intake I would leave on as they sell a CAI as an option on these trucks right from the dealer. About 15 hours of actual riding time, now we likely can do it at the beginning/ end of every season as our riding months are short but it costs so little that I know I will dump it at about 20-25 hrs max.

Free hanging, sorry about that I lifted it with a piece of 6x6 on top of my floor jack and used the underside of the receiver hitch to lift it up. I should have showed that. No, just connect or disconnect it did not seem to matter I have removed it for dealer service and left ot on never a question or issue

Sorry, I missed this, just grab a ground under the Neg post for jump starting, I used a ring connector and just unscrewed it. On the passenger side near the firewall, but ANY screw or bolt that is close and attaches to a metal part of the truck will do! Thanks for watching and LMK if ya need a pic or something.

Yeah the 6112's with the heavier coil spring and the strut with the heavier body and larger piston combined are super heavy duty and high quality but indeed seem to be harsh on this truck for a daily driver. IMO and I have had a few of these newer model trucks in the past few years. Thanks for watching and the comment!

Much improved over factory, firmer but more controlled and no sway in the corners. I wish I had done the 5100's on the front with factory springs as well. They are dirt cheap if you shop around for them, be sure and get the ones for your amount of lift or no lift, the rears as you see go on quickly and IMO are WELL worth it over the factory Ranchos

It is called 1 inch but measure about 11/8 I wanted it to look nice and give protection without looking too crazy, I saved that for my lighting.....LOL

What year is your Truck? This one is 2019-2022 GM Silverado Black Blk Glow Tie Illuminated Bowtie 84069488 GM part number, look on Ebay etc as well , you MAY find a better price, be wary of the $99 Chinese ones, they suck and are NOT plug n play

Thanks for the comment and watching, I actually like them MORE now that I have had them for awhile, I get a lot of complements on them and with the "raptor" lights and led strips on front the whole thing looks amazing. The new steps have additional sliders that go in the rails to better manage the wiring. I have had ZERO issues all the through the winter and many car washes. Also check into the little $20 dollar resistor kits for all lights on and fog lamps with running lamps and the rear cargo lamp and trailer hitch light kits. They take 5 mins max and are a great addition. If you order would you mind getting them through my link? I get no $$ for it but Boost will know I sent a customer their way at least. @@jimshackelfordWv Jim I looked at your page and your Silverlights turned out awesome! The emblem was just plugged into the harness as a pigtail so you can plug the Lumasteps right into that on either side, meaning the emblem harness just has a Y off of it to the emblem so still a male and a female on either end. Will look awesome and do get the rock light option, it looks cool I have not posted it up yet but it goes perfectly with the silverlights!🙂 PS YES FJB🤣

@@naughtydonkeyperformancethe boost auto tow mirrors are awesome too. I just installed those Friday night so much nicer than those tiny stock mirrors. I have a 6 inch lift and 22’s on 35 going on April 19th. Also have quad row wheel lights and 8 rock lights to install so I may skip the rock light option. I don’t think I’ll need it plus extra money I don’t think I need. Not sure yet. On back order until April 25tb anyways
