IMO, Espionage-Influence is the best idea opener. Espionage purely for the AE reduction, combined with the half cost subject transfer age ability (along with any other AE modifiers you can pick up). You can rip Sweden, then Norway from Denmark, PU Hungary, Lithuania, and if you help Austria PU Bohemia, then PU them yourself, you get both. That makes it easy to do Bulg+Byz on Ottomans (at any point, tbh) and you can release Novgorod to eat Muscovy (if you don't wanna let them form Russia first). It is entirely possible to vassalize all of Scandinavia, Romania, Hungary, the southern Balkans, Naples (if you can get a claim or yoink it off someone else) OR Provence, and Burgundy. You can even pick up Austria, too, if you're lucky enough. I even had one game where I bounced straight down to Spain and stole Aragon off of Castile, after ripping Provence off with a no CB on a single province to reconquer parts of France and claim Naples. Think I ended that run in ~30 years because I'd already pretty much won. Still, Austria is, somehow, even stronger, lol.

Went administrative-quantity-religious-aristocratic, so pretty similar ideas there :D Going for trade next, now that I’m finally starting to have control over all the Indian nodes it’s time to get a real economy going, gotta grow the war machine and fuel that Sikh morale 💪 One interesting things that I found in government reforms is the tier 5 “Mansabdari System” gives you a veryy powerful and game-changing privilege which I’m glad I checked: +25% cavalry combat ratio *and* a cavalry cost reduction that *scales with estate loyalty.* Keep the nobility happy (extremely easy in my experience so far) and your cavalry is *50% cheaper,* and when combined with bonuses from aristocratic and Punjabi ideas, your cavalry is half as expensive to recruit and maintain as your infantry! Very fun and unexpected, would recommend :D

Tip for playing tall games that I think a lot of people overlook: Religious Culture privilege for the Clergy. It costs 5 crownland, but dev-ing can easily recover that, and though it gives malices for provinces outside of your region, those don't really matter when you are just expanding into your culture + religion (like say in Italy or Japan). So at the end of the day, it's basically just a buff to all of your provinces: -1 unrest, +10% tax, +10% production efficiency, +10% manpower. They're local modifiers, but when you have them on every provinces, they basically become global modifiers.

One thing -- going noble King (get diffrent branch missions) --- dismantle HRE (what you can do ~1450 in first war wuth Hungary) --- this change missin reward and Polnad will get claims on every german province (+ claims on Lithuania provinces) not only on Lithuania provinces after becoming Empire / 1'000 dev. Second --- if you wait with mission "University of Krakow" after getting universities you would get 5 gov reform from each university.

For a nation with no missions, PDX should really do one India DLC, Punjab has some really great ideas. You can literally play any idea combo with them and it would work out. I might try Timmys into Punjab into Persia just for missions.
