I guessed somewhere between 70-80 for you so I was close lol I started my second set of locs 2 months ago on Halloween w/ two-strand twists & I have 58 locs. Really excited cause this set is already going way better than the first set for me (that one only lasted about 6.5 months.) But I love the way it’s going this time around and plan on keeping ‘em forever. I love your locs, though! Really pretty! 😎🤎✨

So I am 2 days into my loc journey and I have a lot to learn.. everyone seems to have an opinion as to how to care for your locs. Learnt somewhere that water makes locs smell better to use aloe Vera juice. Thanks this was insightful. My hair is still very flat on my head. My hair isn’t thick so we will see how it goes

Be careful with your foundation, your skin is a bit orange at the beginning of the video. Except that, your video is top

I bleached my hair in summer of June 2022 and the color still in but growing out and I’m gonna start my locs next week, I’m not gonna cut my hair off and start from scratch I’m just gonna start my loc. I’ll trust the process and use my spray bottle and my oils. I have faith that my hair will not break.

Your locs are beautiful✌🏾You might be having a reaction to one of the products... start eliminating one at a time... you might have to start washing once a week to see if that helps...

Hi. First off I wanna say, I love your channel. I seen your locs and was like yup thats how i want my locs to be. Lol. Now, I am 6 months into my loc journey. Thank you for this information. It has been very helpful. Can you upload a video, of how to retwist your own hair. I rather save money and do my own hair at home.

DO’s 1. Tie your hair down, wear a bonnet, even if you’re just laying around the house 2. Wash your hair as much as you need to, wear a stocking cap if you don’t want them to unravel 3. Create a good hair regimen. 4. Do an apple cider vinegar rinse. 5. Record your journey. Take pictures ALOT. DONT’s 1. Dont use wax in your hair. Can create buildup, dirt, and lent in your hair. You can use lightweight gel as a replacement. For ex: oil, aloe vera gel, etc. 2. Avoid tight styling. Can cause damage and thinning to hair. 3. Over maintenance. Don’t retwist your hair so much, it’ll thin your hair out. 3.

I'm 8 months in I'm already seeing how my hair is changing into what I imagined it could be. I started with the comb coils on my scalp yes I've had my hair compared to worms and turds it was disheartening it still affects me at times but when you get that glimpse of yourself in the mirror after a shower you start to see all those negative things people have to say are wrong. Your locs are beautiful please don't give up you'll have bad hair days and that's okay.... because when you get to where you want to be you'll look back and see all that stress and worry made you stronger it helps you find and nurture the love you have for yourself and your hair. The closer I get to where I want my locs to be the more I understand why they call it a journey I've lost and found myself over and over I can't wait to see more growth from my hair and myself.!
