Were the 3 speeds ok? I have a 4 speed P Line and was considering changing the gearing for this tour.

We really felt the limits of the three-speed bike. It was doable, but it would have been much more comfortable with a six-speed C version. So changing the gearing on your P line is a good idea!

This is why I have mudguards on my Brompton. A ride in rain is unpleasant enough in itself, so I don't need an extra attack from the back! Finn. Denmark

i think if there's vertical support coming down the rear child seat against the rear rack (so it is supported by two points, stem and rack), i would feel much better about the rear seat very cool video & channel. subbed!

how do you get off your bike w/o kicking your kid in the face? Im just asking because I have a big bag on my rear rack, and I kick it every time I dismount. Is their a special way to mount w/ a bag or passengers in the rear?

We used Brompton own pre-2016 T-bags made by Radical Design. This is a bag designed for touring with Brompton. Unfortunately these amazing bags has been discontinued. However there are some alternatives such as the Large Borough Roll Top Bag from the Brompton lineup, and Radical Design still offers some bigger bag for Bromptons.
