Dog groomer here!- dogs have bad breath when owners don’t brush there teeth (yes they should ideally be brushed everyday) it can lead to gum disease and smells like absolute garbage 😂😂

Obviously can’t give medical advice over the Internet, and I don’t know any of the details in your case, but please Ask if that’s youre only option and if there are specialist who can do this minimally invasively, especially anyone trained in the da Vinci robot.

I've had open surgery on my bowel. I have Crohn's disease, I was EXACTLY the same as you. The thought of the recovery period and also the scar. But I ended up having to have it as an emergency and ended up with a stoma bag. I really wish I'd have put those fears aside and just done it as doing it as an emergency is even longer recovery and so traumatic. You've been through so much, I know it just feels like ANOTHER thing you need to deal with. But you can do it, you've done it before and you will get up again. Take care x

The dog breath thing - dogs need to have their teeth brushed, just like humans. They get tartar buildup, calculus, gingivitis, etc.
