I have a strange feeling watching this. It's a mixture of sadness, joy, and disgust. The men in this crowd aren't stupid; they know Hatsune Miku isn't real, but I think they also know the futility of hoping any real girl would love them the way they have come to expect. In this way, I feel like the persona of Hatsune Miku is holding up a mirror to society's perception of the "ideal girl" and proving that society's expectations of both men and women are ultimately unrealistic. What is real? Maybe it doesn't matter. At the very least, the music slays 🕺🤘

People change Miku's eyecolor in outfits and PVs all the time. Her "Eh? Ah, sou" outfit has purple hair and eyes, while one of her Yubikiri models have brown hair and eyes. People mostly stick to colors similar to her OG design because that makes her recognisable, but artist experiment with her looks, too.

Watching this, as a hardcore Miku fan, it makes me depressed to know that I’ll never get to see a live show like this, ever. And it’s too expensive for me to travel to Japan, let alone the fact that I don’t think they’ll ever do another America tour.

They literally have a giant North America tour planned for spring 2024. They normally do a MikuExpo in America or Europe every year, they just were unable to because of Covid but starting from 2024, they will do it regularly again
