From PrptoPasta “The measure normally used to characterize a conductor is “volume resistivity” with the units of Ohm-cm. This can be confusing because it is not obvious what it means like “miles per hour.” It is simply the resistance through a 1cm X 1cm X 1cm cube of material, with full sheet contact at 2 opposing surfaces. It is often misprinted as ohm/cm which is not a common unit of measure.”

Thanks for the video. To sum it up: Multi 3D is the best, followed by Protopaste which is decent. All the others are not conductive at all (tested them too with the same results). Unfortunately Multi 3D is way to expensive for printing actual parts (2150 $ for 1 kg). I hope they will cut down the cost at some point.

Thanks for testing. But we do not need to spend half an hour to have your results. You could sum up.

Can you do a ranking from best to wors in a sum up?

Thanks for the interesting video. Did you try making any printed project with conductive PLA? Did you try how the conductive PLA is attached to the base PLA plate? How to solder components?

Maybe you could try making into pellets and pellet print it? For the multi3d

I was never aware of pellet printing. I'll definitely dive into researching that. Thanks!

You need to learn about using workplanes- there's a button to create a new one to the right of the align button. There are lots if tutorials on how they work and why you need to use them.

Cool. I'll be sure to check them out. Thanks!

@DiscoverFailLearn You may also want to learn about duplicating rather than copying, and about the mirror tool. They both can save you lots and lots of work. 😀

Hey do you know if the two cables at the back of the charging station are detachable?
@DiscoverFailLearn4 ай бұрын
Yes they are. The power and the RTK antenna cables both have detachable connecters.

Click the object then click mirror next to icon that looks like a magnet. then click the up and down arrow that shows up next to the object. it will flip it 90 degrees for you.

Thanks for doing a review on the tool and giving a perspective. I love these tools for cheap beaters and they do work well for some unusual situations. You're right about the axe, it's effective only for chopping twigs you could probably break with your legs. It is pretty good for batonning though. Here's a small list of lightweight tasks that I've found it useful for. Battoning small /medium pieces of wood, chopping plastic pipe straps, cutting hard wire, varoius wedging or prying tasks, various types of lightweight hammering, thin sheet metal peening, slag removal, chopping through chicken bones, beater knife, pipe reaming, makeshift chiseling, abusive screwdriver tasks, dirty or abusive tasks you wouldn't want to subject your leatherman to. The stainless used is not the harder premium type, but the softer type means I can use it in rain, mud, dirt, salt, or other corrosive environments and not really care. Just rinse it, forget it, and it's ready for more. I did grind one tip of the axe a little though. Didn't like it poking into my palm as I used the folding implements.
