I'm super stoked for Pandaria myself. I didn't get to experience very much of the MoP conent the first time because i was using a crappy computer at the time.

I played through all MoP, it definitely got better the further along the expansion got in my opinion! 🤘🏻

Mained paladin from vanilla through wrath and just deciding if i want to live that life again 😂. It's definitely a mixed bag experience. I love the toolkit. Though the standard grinding rotation is pretty mind numbing, you have some fun oh crap buttons you can get creative with. I was protection, which wasnt too viable but i could actually hold my own if a group gave me the opportunity. Blizzard really didnt know what they wanted out of hybrid classes though and im not sure that i want to deal with that again.

I usually main Paladin, and then did again in Classic vanilla-wrath: decided I couldn’t do it for Vanilla again for reasons you mentioned (except I was ret) 😂 Decided to treat myself to a Warrior for Vanilla & go back to Pally for BC! Let me know if you go for the Pally life again or not 👌🏻

People complain so much they dropped a fresh classic server… not that they’re needed to be one. They could’ve easily just moved the current servers into TBC. And allowed anyone who wanted to stay in era stay in era like they did thefirst time.

The problem is the playerbase blizzard trained that is only about endgame now. Hence i asked in discovery how to deactivate the EXP boost and only got people answearing that I'm crazy... The current playerbase thinks it's crazy that you actually want to play the game...

Simply playing sod because it’s the closest thing to classic + that we have. It’s far from perfect but retail isn’t for me and I can’t justify replaying other versions of classic at this point in my life lol

It’s been aweful. Quit after a week leave 45 rogue. The server is full of Bots and NPCS. Played on Spineshater. Might as well be a PvE server as horde do nothing

@ yeh unfortunately it’s basically every Retail player comely with 1 million add ons to try classic out and as they don’t talk in retail wow. Why would they on classic lol. The LfG is a joke. People just invite you without a /w even if you are signed up to multiple instances. Worst run of wow classic that’s been so far

yes :) the only thing bad about having just 1/2 servers is that u cannon roll horde and alliance at the same time. if I wanna roll alliance now I have to roll on pve server. also 3 month wait for battlegrounds is too much. everything else is really great experience

You know that most competive guilds played horde just because of shamans? Why should I complain of not having paladins while having Tremor Totem, Windfury, blood lust etc.? I played Alliance and people complained of not having shamans.

@@kodingkoala4767 Bloodlust didn't come into the game until TBC, in vanilla, Alliance was much stronger in PvE, it just so happened that the game was not figured out to the same degree and we didn't min-max, and i'm saying that as someone who played on Magtheridon, the same server as Nihilum, quite literally the best guild in the world at the time. Fear ward is objectively better than tremor totem, windfury is great yes, but it just leads to threat capping, usually Alliance can pump harder because of salvation. And a raid needs 8 shamans to buff a raid, where as 3 paladins, maybe 4 if you are lazy, can buff an entire alliance raid. And finally, kings, 10% pure stats is brutal and horde has no equivalent. The ONLY fight where horde objectively have an edge in vanilla is Viscidus, with poison cleansing totems, but even that can be dealt with easily by alliance by simply using consumables instead.

Warrior mage or priest. That's all you need in a 40 man raid. maybe 2 or 3 warlocks for banish, 2 or 3 paladins for buffs, & 1 hunter for tranq. everything else is an inefficient loss and the toxic try hard community will not take anything else.

The only one server that matters is fresh classic NORMAL server the pvp servers are always a crap show for horde it will be alliance faction locked with in hours. Avoid the streamer hardcore server it will have a LONG queue time due to their cult chats playing thinking they will play with them when its guild self found and only rogue will be on the hardcore pvp server.

Since TBC will be next year towards the end of 2025 I’ll likely do an updated guide for it towards the end of Vanilla, as wouldn’t make much sense to do it now!

I've always loved priest, but got fed up with being bored at endgame not being able to do solo content as a healing spec. The dual spec announcement recently has completely changed that and I can't wait!

There will be. Optionally you can opt into a self found mode, which disables AH and trading for you. But that’s just optional.
