I tried it but my bee is too weak.. he couldn’t even walk or drink it.. and.. sadly a few seconds later he passed away.. I really miss him I’m watching his photos and videos thousand times over and over he was so kind doesn’t sting or fly away.. I miss you Teddy. U will always be in my heart ❤

I found a bee in my pool I took it out and gave it sugar water it was so wet it was drinking then after 30 min i put it in the grass it flew into the air and circled around me I saw it fly away

I think mine is going to die. Its so sad. I tried to give it sugar water and in the beginning she moved a little bit. Her tail litteraly wagged. But she moved way less than they normally would, even if they are exhausted. It was like this one was on the edge of passing away already. I put her in a shoe box, next to / in sugar water. It was difficult as she kept falling on her side or back.. Her stinger appeared so I knew she was still alive. It was so difficult to hold her as she didn’t move. Everytime I picked her up I was scared that I would grab her too hard. After a while she didn’t move anymore at all. I’m really sad. I’ve now put the box outside on the table (not fully closed) and she’s laying there. It seems so hopeless, I wish I could rescue her.

I just put some sugar water down to a weak bumble bee in my bathroom. Made sure it was very sugary and a nice lukewarm temperature, on a nice big spoon that I bent backwards so it sat nice and level on the tiles for him to drink off of. A bee rehabilitation trough, if you will. Then he started wriggling his tail and giving me a few warning buzzes before he got up and started buzzing about angrily. What a wee dick.

Oy veh! You have to warm the water on the stove so the sugar can DISSOLVE in the water (1 part sugar, 4 parts water), then COOL it down in the fridge until it's a safe temperature for the bee to drink (then it's nectar). They can't drink sugar crystals, can you not visualize in your mind how BIG they would be compared to the bee's throat (same with hummingbirds). THINK and research before you DO things, people!

I just got stung with one of these, the rungs only lock into place when fully extended so if it's not fully extended it's a death trap. Shoddy... Ahh well I've learned my lesson.
