Another Scrubs reunion where Bill does waaaay too much of the talking. Judy and John barely got a word in

I've never thought about the age difference. Zach is only six years younger than Bill. Huh. Seems wrong somehow. Bill was so young that even though you know he was really young at the start of Scrubs running it - holy double frick was he ever young.

I hate that when people often talk about the golden age of television, there often isn't much mention of Oz at all. People most usually just mention The Sopranos, The Wire etc etc. People have no idea how much Oz changed tv for all of us and enabled us to get these other deep drama series that we got.

My favorite part was at 32 minutes when the host got a text message saying that he called Shelly Long Shirley

I am so glad Amanda Foreman is one of the few who understood those last minutes season 4 episodes. Yes, Ben acted like a turd with Felicity, BEFORE she did the « time travel ».

Funny how they talk so much about how great the soundtrack was, when it’s not the same at all anymore on DVD and streaming 🙂↔️

Ik I'm late to this but scrubs meant a lot to me growing up. I definitely picked up phrases or social things from it. Like if someone points out a flaw that i messed something up but thought i did my best, i definitely just say "Fair enough" from Dr cox. I had never heard that expression before but for some reason it stuck with me. Obviously im older now and have heard that from many other things but ik thats where i remember it from and it stuck for some reason 😂❤.

Amazing stuff! When I was growing up I loved St. Elsewhere and saw this new show that I loved called Homicide and eventually I saw Tom Fontana's name in both of the credits. Then I saw Homicide was based on a book and I read the book and eventually I saw David Simon's name as a writer in the credits for the show. Meanwhile I saw Fontana's name on Oz which I also loved. Then the only preview on HBO for The Wire I saw was a brief graphic showing a bunch of multi-colored wires. But thankfully I worked nights and programmed my VCR 5 minutes before and after the hour to make sure I didn't miss anything and so one Sunday I taped something (probably The Sopranos) and also caught the pilot episode of The Wire and the sad story of Snot Boogie. Then I saw a Baltimore cop car and noticed David Simon's name in the credits and I was off to the races. I could feel in my bones there was some real connective tissue between these shows I love, so thank you so much for sharing these stories!

The story about the female extra wearing high heels and a short skirt getting into a random car while filming a scene and returning 15 minutes later was amazing. I have watched hundreds of movies and tv shows filmed in LA but The Shield showed me so many things I had never seen before. Its one of the reasons I love it so much.
