It depends upon the definition of private equity. That verbiage sets you up for them along property from smaller property owners. The Amish is always a good example. Because would hate them because they don’t borrow from them. They’re truly separate. They’re private equity that you are talking about is probably a trust. That’s crap that Clinton’s set up where it’s probably an inside deal where they have to agree to do everything the bank says with the money. It’s not at arms length. It’s just like if the branches of government weren’t really separate.

I find it amazing that it only takes 2.5 hours to do all that. And when there's a monster truck show, they've got to bring in and remove tons of dirt. And rodeos, too. And let's not forget the cleaning crew. At stadiums, round 1 is picking up the larger pieces (beer cans, food plates) of garbage. By hand. Round 2 is when they bring out the leaf blowers to blow the smaller pieces of garbage (popcorn, candy wrappers, etc.) into the isles. Round 3 is cleaning all the isles. Round 4 is bringing out the power washers where literally every row of every section of the stadium is power washed clean. While all of this is happening, there are workers cleaning the concourse, bathrooms, luxury suites, parking lots, etc. It takes a cleaning crew the size of an army to make all of this happen. Hats off to all of these workers as they are crucial in making events enjoyable for the fans.

Most of this video were just stats anyone can look up. The biggest mistake WV ever made was succeeding from Virginia. VA’s wealth came from tobacco originally. So pointing out defense contractors in the state having to do with the state’s wealth is short sided. By the way, the mountainous terrain has nothing to do with it. How do you explain Denver Colorado or Salt Lake City Utah? These major mountain cities are in the middle of nowhere and people still want to move there and raise families. At least WV couple hours away from the nation’s capital. The USA has 50 states, they can’t all be rich. There are some poorer areas of Virginia. I’ll put it to you this way….if Puerto Rico breaks away from USA, it won’t take long for them to be just as poor as The Dominican Republic.

I do have one question. For arenas that do “Disney on Ice” how do they change the logo on the ice? Do the workers have to repaint every time?

This Spanish artist that I love, c.tangana, released a film of its latest album making-of and behind the scenes while planning the touring and doing the touring itself. Oh, my god. It is INSANE! And also, it did not help logistically the fact he flew across South America and Europe a crew of over 30 musicians, an orchestra and just lots of props like tables, glassware and such. He went above and beyond and he ended up fed on touring, fighting with the local venue managers at each location, its own crew demoralization and just basically losing money. It shocked me so much because going as a fan, you never see the other side of everything that need to happen so you can enjoy the show. the name of the film is “this boundless ambition” (song reference as well) can’t wait to see it again! It barely scratches the surface of the logistical challenges he overcame but it’s a great watch if you’re interested.

These days, depending on the show and artist, a big factor is setting up the computers and interfaces that will playback the tracks that some or even all will simply mime to. It's unfortunate, but a reality now.

It's amazing how "the most dangerous subway" had 48 injuries in a year (and that's 96% of subway injuries in the country), while 100 people a day die from car accidents in the United States.

Las Vegas is absolutely not entirely a vacation destination. Substantial portion of Las Vegas. Vegas is convention business, and that is business travel. The way you blasted through that assumption is gonna give me scepticism of this entire presentation.

This is why working for a publicly traded company always sucks. Every decision is made to boos the current quarter's numbers with no concern for the long-term health of the company or employees.

Way to ignore the elephant in the room here. Vermont is the closest thing West Virginia has to a twin. Similar size, similar mountainous/hilly terrain, similar population, similar demographics. But Vermont is one of the most progressive states, while West Virginia is one of the most conservative. The single biggest factor determining a state's relative wealth is its political orientation, and the Republican/Trumpist mindset is a recipe for poverty virtually 100% of the time. Blue states invest in education, health, infrastructure, and social welfare for their people. Red states think it's best to let their largely hereditary ruling class hoard all the wealth, thinking it will somehow "inspire" the poor to "work harder" if they're given nothing. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the flaws here, and so red states keep their working class populations uneducated, so they won't know any better.
