This is often credited to Weird Al Yankovic but it's not it's by Tommy & Rumble from 1998 who worked together on a comic radio program broadcast weekday mornings on radio FM99 in Virginia & together they made thirteen CDs to benefit their radio station's Christmas Wish Fund.

I didn't know my dad but we lived in the same town and seeing him around town with his family alwayd made me sad but it was alright cause i knew his family's past to and jt wasnt any better than mine Then in July of 2019 My mom called me When I was at work And told me that while he was in Wyoming he got killed in wreck Even though I didn't know him hit me harder than anything ever had My grandpa was my best friend My grandpa was my best friend And when he died didn't even hit me that hard After My dad funeral I just started driving around and eventually I just started driving around and eventually A couple days later I ended up At his grave In this song came on I was bawling In no time everyone who knew him and knows me tells me or my mom all the time how much i remind them of him and it kills me that i never got to find that out on my own and that I'll never have the chance.

I've lost My Brother in Christ, he is a doctor. when he was on duty, the virus (Covid) attacked him. he is a good doctor, always caring for many people, and of course what he does because he loves God. I think this is unfair why he should be taken so quickly, but of course it is not a good reason if I look for other people's mistakes. that I know he has fought his illness and finally he won, of course with God. and he died carrying that belief, and I live for that.

Dream Academy wrote this song about Nick Drake. Who was discovered in the morning by his mother. He had taken an overdose due to increasing depression as his albums were not doing too well. It was not until after his death that people took notice.

My dad had this song on a CD in his truck and everytime I got in I would make him play. This was and still is one of my favorite songs. I remember my parents recording a segment of the CMTs where they sang this song just so I watch it over and over.

I heard this song today and with tears streaming down my face, I am reminded of my grams who was taken from this world with Parkinson's disease on Christmas Eve 6 years ago this year, this broke me in all forms someone can be broken, she was my mother and taught me how to love. A year later even though I had 3 beautiful children my 2nd husband and I made a pact that we would see who could leave this nasty world behind. I was ready to die and be done with everything, Boxing day I woke up to only his body but he had long since taken his last breath and left me here, later that day i was admitted to hospital and almost lost my life too, but God told me that it was not my time that he still had plans for me. So yea I find this song to be highly emotional especially the time leading up to Christmas I miss my grams so much the grief i have from her leaving is still inside of me today. I know that she is in a better place and that I will see her again, sometimes that thought alone is not enough and I want more but I can't
