Giddey has 4 main problems. 1. he defers way to often, 2. He lacks aggression, 3. He isnt vocal enough & 4. he needs to cut fukn hair - and i aint joking. When i use to ball...i eventually shaved my head because touching my damn hair made my hand slippery, it was a fkn distraction, it broke my concentration on the game. If you legit watch Giddey play - he will touch his fkn hair every 3rd play - brushing it out of his hair line. That means hes actually having his mental processes interrupting. Ill be real... Australias basketball programme actually damages our players. They all learn to defer to other players.. Giddey and Simmons got the same issues... they need to go train with some MMA fighter And lastly...fire your fkn entourage. They are leading you astray. The style the team plays is his biggest problem. His best attribute is his passing and it's wasted when all they want to do is space around the 3 point line. As for Giddey himself he also needs to be more aggressive when he attacks the rim. Hes 6'9, he can dunk the ball, he needs to stop pulling up for floaters and drive that little bit deeper to get to the free throw line.

I hate +/-, it's misleading, and doesn't tell you what's going on the court. Unfortunately, Giddey has slow starts to every season. Did it with OKC too. He's not earning his regular stats, but there's still all the potential. And watching him this season, I've actually seen improvement on his weaknesses, he's been defending better, charging the lane more and getting better at the 3 and with more confidence. I still think the trade with AC was fair. Giddeys problem is always consistency, he'll be an all-star one night and the next be bench warmer calibre. Not sure if it's him, his attitude/confidence or the plays they're running, but the potentials there.
