It would be helpful when you share the paid for/sold for numbers to include the costs for grading. You make it sound like you just send these coins off to get graded and they magically reappear. Sending coins to PCGS is labor intensive, takes time, and it’s not cheap. And what about the times you sent a coin and the grade was worse than you’d hoped for? If that war nickel had come back AU, you’d have lost money on the deal.

I am surprised that NGC wouldn’t give the accented hair Kennedy an Ultra Cameo because I thought NGC had lower requirements for cameo as compared to PCGS.

I am sceptical about any d- cams there,and I am not convinced about any 68's. 67 cam on a couple..68 is so very hard to get, not to mention d-cams.Sorry, that is what I think.😊

Dude, you gave up almost too much game. That trick that you send it first for grading.

Good info. Id add; once you find your specialty; join all the organizations dealing with your specialty and BUY EVERY BOOK RELATED to that specialty. Even ones that breifly mention. Ive found the most important small details in the strangest places.

very nice video. I see your point. how can someone get the pics. to learn the grading process? I can see nice coins from the usual. the grading is what I think I need to learn.

Why 1962 ? That year is not a low mintage , I have a 62 Franklin half dollar very nice cameo both sides , nice bell lines and found out even if it grades well 67 or 68 it wouldn't be worth very much so I just keep it in a air-tite capsule . I think it's beautiful and I like to look at it . Thanks for the vid .

The reason why you don’t get the higher grades because the human eyes and the graders are behind the curb, the older they get an AI system should be the last grading part you give the true grading value and many collectors would be on board the few grading companies probably will not be because it infringes upontheir income, which, in the ultimate end it will be graded in the future by an AI system because it’s able to do far more and give a true value

Grading bullion coins is a terrible waste of money.
