I don't know what it is exactly, but the gunplay is just the best i've played so far, something about the particles, sound, physics reacting and the enemy ragdolling is just so satisfying, the fact bulletholes stay on enemies makes it feel more impactful aswell

I replayed this just a few days ago on Xbox Series X and... it wasn't bad. It's not Drad Rising material, no, and it certainly isn't the Frank West we wanted, but maybe my copy was a red herring, be ause the graphics, gameplay, and even some of the hit boxes felt smoother and cleaner than before.

So if you fail the main mission, it's not necessary a game over. You can still play the game if you want, just not the main story. Its one of the reasons I love the game so much... Technically, everything in the game is optional. And BTW: Still waiting on the hitman retrospective

This is a very underrated game. I am not sure why it got so much hate and mediocre reviews when it launched in 2013. I think people just hated it due to its connection to the hated Xbox One at the time.

I am not an FPS fan. I have been playing rpgs for 30 years and i gotta say Borderlands is an addiction for me. It's not even the rpg mechanics that does it for me. It's the endlessnes of it lik Monster Hunter

in all honesty, the ps2 / x360 was the best time to be alive and the only true console generation, none of that marketing crap about realistic graphics bla bla bla, developers just deployed absolute bangers to enjoy with your siblings and friends

I loved Black! I got a copy of it from a pawn shop, but the disc was so scratched up that I could hardly finish a map without a handful of disc polishes and resets. I spent the entire lifetime of my PS2 looking for another copy, but no game shop in my stupid country had even heard of it, and importing at the time wasn't a financially viable option (almost the cost of a black market kidney).

Man, you guys missed on Black big time. It got raving reviews and it was considered THE FPS game for the PS2. On the Xbox it ran better but it also suffered stiff competition from Halo. I remember that, by the end of PS2's life cycle, Black and Time Splitters Future Perfect were the best shooters on the PS2.

I Platted the first twice (100% on Xbox and the got the platinum on PS) my all time favourite I only have 2 more for DR2 on TIR

The hate for this game is completely unwarranted. I don't care if Frank is changed. Who cares I'm the main character in this game also I don't need a damn timer in my game and I want a big expansive zombie World to run around and have fun in and kill zombies. That's why I Dead Rising 3 was awesome. Everything they did in this game that everybody complains about is exactly what I wanted them to change. Games awesome.

How were able to even start the game?? There is a bug where the game won't even start and Capcom said they won't fix it. So again, how were you able to play this game?? Also, Frank West voice and mannerisms are based on actor Bruce Campbell. Capcom should had got him.

4 opened my mind to the franchise, the time limit didn't quite sit well with me at first because I didn't know how to proceed, but I had so much fun wreaking destruction that I decided to give the rest another shot Edit: forgot their names, but literally just killed the dual chainsaw clown and grocery store manager

I got this game recently. And im having fun with it. I kind of like that it is completely different from the other games. No time limit so i can just have fun mowing down hundreds of zombies with all the combo weapons. Also fun to run over the zombies with the cars.

DR3 is my personal fav

I recently beat it for the first time and it's a very mid game , especially compared to tiny Tina's wonderland

i like chuck and dr2, but capacom should have made this version as the official canon for dr2. it's still the best dr game out of the bunch

I feel Capcom have always been trying to make Frank more of a James Belushi type, it's evident with the DR1 Remake

im sick that from the comments ive seen and this guy playing through the game neither he has noticed or anybody has stated how the holiday mode can be turned off and the game can be played without it. on top of that, not that its any better tbh but there is also an alternative holiday mode that changes it from christmas to i think either 4th of july or st patricks day i forget. but the point is that you dont have to play the game with the christmas theme active. you could have no theme at all and play it like a non holiday game.

Also doing a replay. I wish they would have made the controls better. Even a new RE Engine controls would be cool. It's better than what's been released lately lmao

I didn't like this one, or the third. I'm looking forward to the remake of the original. I had a blast playing that one. It was one of the first games i bought for my 360.
