Dead Island 2 | 1 Year Later - A Retrospective

It's a great game and still playing it a month after purchase. There is nothing wrong with the story, if you read all the notes and such left about and play all the side quests and such, you get an understanding of what the game is about........a sequel. Cannot wait for the new update in October! Nice that it is free and we are going to be able to play through the game again keeping our levels and weapons. In addition, we will be able to level up more, more cards to unlock, more weapons to find which should see this every bit better than the first game. I loved Dead Island 1, but having played this find it much better and do not see why people down it so much. Sad really, as Dambusters did a great job.

Oh man I remember playing the leaked alpha of this like 5-7 years ago that this game def deserves a retrospective. Your channel is super underrated, gonna throw this on my second monitor and watch at work!

Lest we all forget, not only does it have a completely different tonal shift from the first game, *Dead Island 2* doesn't even take place on an island... It's just California. It's Dead Island in name alone.

Story sucked but let’s be honest, we were all here to cut up zombies in gruesome detail anyways so I didn’t really care. There’s enough gameplay elements to keep it going even after the story and two honestly banger dlcs

I expected more after the first game. This game wasnt that bad but it was very underwellming. I expected more. But it is what is is.
