I was waiting for the next model of McLaren gt so much but is bit disappointed that there are barely any changes.

Great video Misha! Awesome cinematography. Only problem with your videos is that they can get expensive - ended up buying a used Urus for my wife after watching your video 🤣 Loving the Urus btw. I have always been intrigued by the McLaren GT and have been seriously looking at the used 720s market. Prefer the looks of the 720 over the GT a million per cent though. The look of the GTS appears very similar (to my eyes at least) to the new Vette. Keep up the good work and thanks
@MishaonWheelsКүн бұрын
Hey Carlos! I am glad you love the Urus, incredible machine, love it as well! I mean yes the 720s has a fighter jet look where the GT is a bit more subtle..

If you buy the car in the US, you can turn off the speed warning forever. I too, love that the car is quiet. I like to be able to converse with my wife without shouting or having to crank up the radio volume until my ears bleed. I love the active cruise control on the highway. It’s far more relaxing. On an easy drive, I get 30 mpg, so 50L is fine for me. The automatic is the best option on the M2…faster shifts, faster car. I’ve always been a stick shift person but after testing the manual, it was very vague and rubbery feeling. I hated it. In traffic, the automatic is the only way to go. For me it is a dream car…$70K. I can easily afford more but why spend $200K on say a Porsche Turbo S that in 2 months will be “Just your car”. The newness has worn off. And no one seems to care the care that the Turbo S only comes with PDK and no stick shift. I do wish the M2 came with surround cameras; had lane centering; had 600 hp; had better materials inside but then the price would be up with the M3/M4 approaching $100K. Enjoy the car as it is…a very fun driving car, and not electric with no sound, always hunting where to charge the car, feeling like an appliance, something that takes you from point A to point B and generically nothing more.

@@MishaonWheels Thank you. Looks awesome and as a non-purist but respectful Porsche fan, I like it a lot. The 964 is the ultimate 911/Porsche and that's the reason Singer started there. Although, apparently they are moving to work on the 930, which is really exciting.

Misha, have you driven the Maserati MC20? Based on reviews I've seen, that seems to be the only natural competitor to the McLaren GTS based on driving experience. But the Maserati can't touch the McLaren in practicality, of course.

Have you considered the f87 ? I asked because especially you were talking about small and short wheel based car. Then perhaps the f87comp or even CS is a bit too extreme for a daily , it's more suitable for as a 2nd car. And of course it's less new .... Regarding 09:30 , that's a mandatory security which started in 2022 or 2023 in EU. You might be able to disable it using BimmerCode or some sort or things like that but not natively. in 2024 started new security "features" which hardens the gas pedal when you go above the speed limit....
@MishaonWheels10 күн бұрын
I owned the F87 back when it was first released, totally loved the car it also felt way more pure to drive than the new one, and as there is the new one I was quite looking forward to it. Annoying hah all those new regulations, really taking all the soul of our cars and turning them into beeping robots
@eek860511 күн бұрын
G87 is a 2 door coupe, RWD, 6 speed manual, that’s what a traditional sports car is with all the modern tech, that’s why I got it, I ordered at the right time since I get the LCI. It’s my 1 car garage, and wouldn’t have it any other way. I agree with that comment kind of sucks BMW did not include a 360 camera, and a m240i gets a 360 camera makes no sense to me at all lol. But when I drove the m3 comp, as my country only sells m3 in comp, and that car felt too fast for the street, I doubled the speed limit a lot with it lol, and being automatic made me feel less engaged because of it, as I find paddle shifting a gimmick. While the m2 it felt more fun at legal speeds, which to me is a big plus.
@MishaonWheels11 күн бұрын
Well said, if you felt that he m3 is too quick to have fun, try older cars 😏 with even less. But yes you are right that with a manual you can really enjoy the drive without flying to space
@Neil3D11 күн бұрын
I'm the same, I have the LCI coming this week. I'm actually quite annoyed with the recent BMW LCI program, many people buy a brand new car because they want the latest and greatest... so having a new LCI out only 1 year after the G87 was launched feels like a sucker punch to people who bought it already. A lot of people care about that, that's why they buy new. The G series M cars then got the completely new widescreen dash after 2 years which made the first 2 years of the M3/M4 look really really dated inside. Then...! I've just noticed they're now bringing out the new 2 series grand coupe with an even more modern updated interior, why does the regular 2 series have a newer more modern interior to M2 LCI which has barely landed from Mexico!? I'm so excited for the M2 though, I had the F83 comp pack from new back in 2017 and have missed driving M for a few years... decided to go for the Grigio Telesto with black wheels as I don't think that'll be a common option so I'm hoping I have a bit of a rare beast. Not many people will want to spend 3k for grey paint!

Hey Misha. I'm coming from a CLA45s 2024, I tried few days ago a new M2 and it was just perfect. About horsepower, do u find much difference from an M4? I tried one once and I didn't feel it different... also, interior quality was superior than my CLA45s...
@MishaonWheels11 күн бұрын
The feeling of the horsepower will be very different if you are in an xdrive or a rear wheel drive. I only drove the m3 to compare not the m4, and it does feel quicker, especially from low speed accelerations.

Great content! Love to see someone enjoy the visceral feelings an early 90's sports car brings to the driver. I've recently purchased a 2018 991.2 base with 8500 miles on the odometer and that is pretty much my daily driver now. Fun car and fulfilled a dream of mine since being a teenager of owning a 911. It has allowed me to fall in love with a car again after about 10 years off from my last ride in a SAAB 900 Turbo. I had several of those SAABs and still have one in the garage. They evoke the same feelings you describe perfectly with your 964. You get to know and feel the car in a way that is almost impossible with a newer vehicle....they have a personality if its possible. The smell, the feel, the sounds are just something you cannot find in a new car. And yes you are in for the journey with them good and bad. Glad you kept the 964 stock as it should be although if it were mine I'd be strongly tempted to do a tear down refurb and go completely broke doing so. I want to find a 964 also but the prices are insane....my wife already knows the 991.2 will not be my only Porsche....so one day the right one will present itself....after I pay off the 991.2! Thanks for the content and great production quality!

Very well produced content with beautifull landscape I personally know very well! Well done! However, your experience ist not at all specific to Rolls Royce. Any middle classe electric car can do that today. I just drove from Murten (Morat) to Giorgia and back during the last few weeks, with my electric Ford Mustang with a total of 8'600 km.

With all the 964's being used for backdating (Singer as the most prominent example) it will be harder and harder to find clean original examples of the 964. Add the low production numbers of the 964 and you can be sure that clean original 964's will become very rare and therefore valuable. To anyone that owns one, keep it and enjoy it. Most important, don't forget to drive the car. THAT is what they are made for and can do effortlessly for hundreds of thousands of miles.
