Excellent review, but you may have missed an important point. Some cars have a "soul", or "je ne sais quoi" or some special quality, which endears you to them. I've had 7 Porsches, BMW's, Audi's, including the RS3--which is much faster than this car--excellent cars all. But there's something about my '17 F Type coupe (V6, 380 HP, rwd) which is so inspiring, so much fun, and so purposeful, that I can't wait to drive it every day. Not to mention that it's one of the prettiest designs ever. I don't know if you, young dude, feel the magic, but it's there. Haven't felt it in BMW's of late.....lots of great cars out there, but a very few make you happy to be alive.

I own a 2020 F-Type. I loved the design from the second I saw it advertised on TV in 2014. Every time I saw the car on TV or "in the wild," my heart would race, and I would have such a craving for THAT car. I never aspired to have a Jaguar per se; it was the F-TYPE I aspired to have, and Jaguar just happened to make it. BUT, since owning it, I have come to understand how special people treat a JAG. They admire them. They ogle them. They ask about it. They wonder what exotic car it is because it's so unique. And, until this video, I'd not heard such a summary description of the Jaguar brand until now, and it is so true. Watch the honest segment between 5:50 and 6:28. He says the Jag might not be for him (honest), but it is a niche market that Jag has created and coveted among its customers for decades. I love this quote, "... he (the Jag owner) really wants to buy a JAG. He wants to own a JAG. And he will be proud of having a JAG." That is so true and so awesome, even for those of us who happened into the car, but always admired the unique styling of Jags and the willingness of the brand to be daring and unique and classy. Yes, I really wanted to buy the F-Type. I wanted to own the F-Type. And, I'm proud of having the F-Type. Thank you for a great, affirming review and thank you, Jaguar, for having the courage to stay the course, despite what everyone else is doing.

Have owned a P300 for 3 years. Now i have just picked up my new 450..... i really do believe bang for buck they are a amazing. The most beautiful back end ever. Amazing cockpit. Beautiful drive. Amazing sound!! That cold start sound...HEAVEN!!
