What do you consider the difference between flash and first go?

I think "flash" is pretty clear, but "1st go" means that I may have done some moves of the problem already. For example, two problems have the same start but different finish. Then I could have only flashed one. In some cases I may have tried a a sketchy top-out first, before actually attempting it from the start.

Nice, except that's not where the Marble starts... The hold you started on skips the 3-4 move crux sequence at the beginning of the boulder.
