For anyone watching this in 2024, if you don't want to use an arbitrary value for the zoom level, define your game dimensions beforehand. If you set your tile size and the game grid and use this value inside Tiled the exported file will have the correct zoom level inside the canvas. The key is to choose your width and height based on an aspect ratio, this way your game screen will be consistent between devices that use the same aspect ratio.
