I have a Alumacraft 1648, stripped down, partially ready for paint...started blasting off that gross green factory camo paint. I am going to a HDPE boat hull. What price should I ask for my boat, hull, console, all interior panels and wood decking / flooring, Throttle controls and cables also. NO trailer. NO motor. Hull is in good used condition, no corrosion, no holes, aluminum transom is good also. I have some Gator Glide to throw in...if it's any good. So, ballpark estimation what should I ask for it ?

One question though, do you find any problems with pour foam directly on the hull even with a trough in the middle for water?

I must have missed something but I have no idea why that the poor pour foam came out. And then went with the pink foam and filled the channel in the middle. Seems like all that defeated the purpose not trying to be a buzz killer anything I'm just confused.

Or you could weld aluminum sheet meral and make individual pods that are air tight so uless u bust a hole in them all your boat cant sink

I got a 83 smoker craft aluminum v hull I'm doing the same thing with casting deck live well lighting it's already got a multi rack on the back t bars up front it's my catfish rig I'm going with a 35 or 40 HP it's the smoker craft big fisherman

I don’t understand the live scope (2-3k worth) and hand control trolling motor. Having to let go of the rod while fishing to adjust the trolling motor would be annoying. 😂

Do you need drain hole on the aluminum floor? If not how much does the water pool up.

I know it's 3 years old but why wouldn't you recirc the chilled water back thru the chill box? you had is set up so that it was constantly bringing in warm water defeating the purpose because you will blow thru your ice and water will never really chill.

Oh good! Now if you get a fuel leak the pink foam will turn to a jelly mess because the gas eats threw it, gas won't eat threw pour foam

So, you decked the boat first then overplayed it with aluminum?

So what is best for a V hull? Wouldn't the pink foam sit flat with the hull? Seems there would be a gap from the pink foam the closer it gets to center, since the v doesn't equate to flat flooring. What do you do to flatten it out? I hunt with some big boys, and worried about the subfloor not being able to handle the weight over time. Sounded like pour foam was the answer until waterlogging became an issue.

what im planning to do is prep n seal the inside of the hull and the framing under the subfloor with anti rust prep then epoxy sealer then the pour foam under the sub floor n then reseal the floor once the panels are in
