Please read this. You must tell your doctor the specific symptoms of whooshing blood and heart rate in your ear to separate it from typical tinnitus. An ENT specialist is your go-to, and they SHOULD red flag heartbeat, blood swooshing symptoms for further investigation as they can be serious. The ENT specialist will refer you for not 1 but 2 very specific CT scans. 1 is called a CT angiogram which typically uses a contrast to show what's exactly happening and, 2 a CT temporal-bone scan. These two scans show a close up of what's happening with your vessels, if there are aneurysms or tumours. Surgery is then likely the next step. I literally got these tests booked today. It took me 3.5 years to get heard, but I realised the onus was on me to describe the symptoms accurately rather than expecting them to be picked up. A young audiologist actually took time to listen to my description of my symptoms and said they were a red flag. She instructed me to make sure i mentioned the red flags to the ENT doctor and I asked that she put it in her notes. She was amazing. Sometimes you have to say the right words to the right people to be heard and to get the right help. Peace to you.

My daddy went to this doctor for a HOLE he had in his foot from surgery in the E.R. (he stepped on a nail) & his foot was infected. This doctor looked at his foot & SENT HIM HOME & MADE HIS NEXT APPOINTMENT FOR "1 MONTH" AFTER THAT VISIT!! My daddy was (NOTE "WAS" BECAUSE HE HAS PASSED AWAY) a diabetic. NO DIABETIC SHOULD BE SENT HOME & NOT EXAMINED FOR AN ENTIRE MONTH (ESPECIALLY WITH A HOLE IN HIS FOOT)!! Then when my daddy went back to see this doctor (in a month like he was told), he had a "TOE BONE LAYING IN HIS WOUND" & all this doctor could say to my daddy was, "We will have to start over" then he threw his instrument he examined my daddy's foot with on the desk & walked out (NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN) (He acted like my daddy "HAD DONE SOMETHING WRONG)! As far as I am concerned, this doctor DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO HELP BUT "TAKE HIS MONEY"!!.............(the doctor in the E.R. had removed one (1) of my daddy's toes because of infection & sent him to this doctor, Rodney Lutz, for treatment. I WOULDN'T LET THIS SO CALLED "DOCTOR" EXAMINE MY DOG!! IF YOU WANT A "RUDE/NONCARING/JERK OF A SO-CALLED DOCTOR", GO TO THIS HORRIBLE EXCUSE FOR A DOCTOR!!!

I’m 17 years old and have had this for about 2 months now. It’s safe to say it’s driving me nuts!! I have pre-existing issues with a cholesteotoma in the same ear and am having my second surgery in about 1 month. I have not been able to contact my surgeon to discuss this new issue and hope that I will be able to talk to him on the day to see what he can do. The tinnitus is really keeping me awake at night because it makes me incredibly anxious and it becomes a vicious cycle.

A pt my facility currently sees on a regular basis had this procedure done. It went wrong and the pt now has memory loss. The pt remembers everything before the procedure but doesn't know they had it done and in their mind they're still overweight. The pt has a lot of eating problems now and vomits often.

I'm here at the hospital with my father learning as much as I can.. he is suffering a "minor" "moderate" SAH due to a hard fall. We are on day 2 after injury. No surgery had been deemed necessary as the bleeding stopped. I guess I'm scaring myself with Google search so I am turning to real stories on youtube If anyone out there knows alot about this please help give any assurance because Google is not very assuring.

Okay ladies.. please explain why not the claw clip in the hair? I wear one all of the time and if there's a reason not to I'd like to know.. Thank you for all you E.D. nurses do.. I've lupus, fibromyalgia and necrosis of the blood.. besides low blood sugar hypoglycemic (it was E.D. nurses and doctors that figured that out at a blood sugar level reading of 25) and many many physical handicaps. Thank you .. Thank you.. Thank you.. ❤
