I had pulsatile tinnitus for a month in March this year. It is the worst type of feeling! The first doc treated me for ear ache. The Lord heard my prayer when the second doc I went to see started by testing my Vit B 12 levels. They were low and my BP spiked! He prescribed Vit B injections. I am on my 5th one as I write. The pounding is gone! It surfaces here and there but very faintly. I pray anyone going through that gets relief.

Hey. It stopped completely on the 5th shot. I had 3 injections daily , then one once a week for 3 weeks. So it stopped in the 3rd week after the first injections. Best wishes ❤

Please read this. You must tell your doctor the specific symptoms of whooshing blood and heart rate in your ear to separate it from typical tinnitus. An ENT specialist is your go-to, and they SHOULD red flag heartbeat, blood swooshing symptoms for further investigation as they can be serious. The ENT specialist will refer you for not 1 but 2 very specific CT scans. 1 is called a CT angiogram which typically uses a contrast to show what's exactly happening and, 2 a CT temporal-bone scan. These two scans show a close up of what's happening with your vessels, if there are aneurysms or tumours. Surgery is then likely the next step. I literally got these tests booked today. It took me 3.5 years to get heard, but I realised the onus was on me to describe the symptoms accurately rather than expecting them to be picked up. A young audiologist actually took time to listen to my description of my symptoms and said they were a red flag. She instructed me to make sure i mentioned the red flags to the ENT doctor and I asked that she put it in her notes. She was amazing. Sometimes you have to say the right words to the right people to be heard and to get the right help. Peace to you.

I am 42 years old and I felt that for the first time since I was 24! I have been suffering from that for 18 years... I didn't know even if this exists, some times I used to type on google "i hear my heart into my ear" and i was founding results irrelevant. I come across with this video i feel kind of relief for some reason. At least, I know I'm not the only one going through that, many times I used to express it to other people but they were not able to understand what I was talking about. Many times I avoid to be in quite places, even in my bed at night i listen music in my headphones to distract me . Through the years I tried some tecniques although, one of them is slowly breathing and stretching and not much food. I warm shower also helps me many times. By the way that moment I am typing, I have no Pulsatile Tinnitus, not at all .. Moments like that are great moments... (sorry for my english, I am from Greece)

Everytime I try to sleep I hear it so loud in my ears in sync with my heart beat it’s so annoying. I thought I had to go see a neurologist but I’m going to see an ear doctor instead in hopes that I can treat this . At first I thought it was my heart but my heart is perfectly fine but I hear it both my ears when I turn to the side to sleep.

I’m 17 years old and have had this for about 2 months now. It’s safe to say it’s driving me nuts!! I have pre-existing issues with a cholesteotoma in the same ear and am having my second surgery in about 1 month. I have not been able to contact my surgeon to discuss this new issue and hope that I will be able to talk to him on the day to see what he can do. The tinnitus is really keeping me awake at night because it makes me incredibly anxious and it becomes a vicious cycle.

I've had this since 2019 in my right ear. It just sounds like whoosing kinda like an ultrasound of a heartbeat. Done an MRI/MRA/MRV and they keep saying they don't see a cause. Sometimes I don't even know what can be the next step except possibly reaching out to someone named Dr.P. For years I'd have anxiety over it and now I'm literally just living with it with no answers. It's not fun having something that is rare that many professionals don't understand. I just hope it's nothing potentially serious.

I v'e had tinnitus for 40 years now and have come to terms with it. Some days are worse than others and some days I don't hear the buzzing sounds at all. For 3 months now I have had this loud whoosing sound in my left ear and neck pain. The Doctor has reffered me to the hospital for a MRI scan. Hope they will be able to get to the bottom of this because it takes over your life.

Thanks for this video. I'm from Finland and i have had pulsatile tinnitus for 12-months now. whooshing in my left ear and it stops when i press my jugular vein gently.. This started after i had covid and all the symptoms of an ear infection. gladly i have a doctor's appointment today but I'm still afraid they wont take it seriously, going to update what they said, hopefully they send me to get an Angiography

​@@himanshi575 Hi, I went to the doctor, and they conducted some basic tests on me and gave me a referral to a specialist where they surely know how to examine me. I believe you could also see a specialist as long as you first schedule an appointment with a regular doctor where you can explain your symptoms, are you from the U.S?. This brought me at least some peace of mind. Pulsatile tinnitus is an unpleasant issue.

@@himanshi575 No it's not fixed, i'm going to see a specialist like i said, who's gonna diagnose me first to see what causes my tinnitus. it's not a quick fix. Also i cannot help you really, only thing you can do to help yourself is to book an appointment to your doctor. talk to your parents about it. you know how to get a doctor's appointment don't you? does your school have a physician, ask him/her to help you. i really can't help you since i live in Finland (Europe, Nordic Country) and you live in the United States we have different healthcare systems.
