I have had this Smart birdfeeder for almost a year and could not figure out how to scan the QR code. It was not clear that you use the birdfeeder camera not a cell phone camera until I watch this video. Thank you so much. This worked like a charm.

What a total coincidence that I find this video in my KZbin feed! Because just this morning I had to disassemble our camera feeder. The Bird Lover app sent me an alarm advising there was a 1% battery (not had this problem before). I could not figure out how to get the camera out and now you have shown me how simple it is. Thank you. I brought the feeder inside the house to charge it and after several hours it only managed to charge 61%. I had to run errands so I reassembled the feeder with the hope that the mid-day and afternoon sunshine would charge it the rest of the way. The camera keeps going "offline" and when I could connect the battery was up to 72%. I still think there is something wrong and hope to troubleshoot more tomorrow when the sun comes back up. The camera had been operating fine until this morning's app alarm about the 1% battery.

Trying to connect Ours to the internet?

I pulled the Micro SD card today while cleaning the feeder and downloaded all the video to my computer. The files don't really seem to be openable on my computer. Are videos and images intended to be compatible with Mac/PCs, or is the idea that everything is really handled via the app interface? Relatedly, when I'm cleaning the feeder should I delete old data from the SD card, or does the camera delete the oldest files when it needs more space?

How is an APS combo flange from Wild Birds Unlimited used with it? How does it mount and can I use the screws from the BirdReel feeder, or the ones the flange comes with? Please guide me on this. Thanks
