This is actually smooth as hell, i saw the entire thing. You made a solid act with this showcase, not a dull moment whatsoever. Preach!

Haven't watched yet but just wanted to leave the comment "speedrun for actual speed running lunatics" to help the algorithm. Taking this on is crazy haha.

Actually, I've discovered a funny but effective way not to kill, stun, or even chloroform the guard in front of the room! After closing the door to the hallway so that the other two people at the top of the stairs can't see, you have to position yourself in the hallway adjacent to the wall on the same side of the room at say 10 metres from the guard, and as soon as the guard looks away, you have to throw a cup or a plate aiming at the GUARD'S LEGS (not at his head, that would stun him!). At that point, the guard abandons his static guard position and starts to slowly patrol the hallway to see what has happened: with the right timing, as soon as the guard is no longer looking at the door of the room, quickly enter and you're done! On the way out, simply go into sneaking mode and leave slowly the room; the guard, meanwhile back in his original guard position, will not notice anything!

Jesus, I did not know you can keep the achievements if you load a previous save without finishing the mission... wtf that saves so much time.

New to hit man and I’ve only played Berlin once and 3 other levels so far (Dubai, Dartmoor and Chongqing) but Berlin had me bored out of my skull. I’m guessing it gets better on replay as everyone keeps saying it’s one of the best but I thought it the level design and gameplay was repetitive and boring.

the targets are (debatably) the weakest part of Berlin, with their short loops, obvious kill methods, and fairly generic characterization (i mean they stand out from the rest of the rich, powerful, and evil ceos and maniacs you kill from the rest of the trilogy, but since they don't have unique voices they don't stand out). they can be manipulated easily by shooting at them to run to you which is nice, and a few of them have cool scripted opportunities (takeout food, dj tree fire, and the shootout) it's their base loops that I think most people dislike. but thats what makes Berlin good, you get to design a route around 5 targets with simple routes, and more focus is placed on which 5 you choose and how you get between them, rather than the kills themselves, since most are isolated or easily killed with convenient accidents. its suprising you don't like the layout of Berlin, it's not the most interconnected map in the series, with alot of staircases being the primary way to get around, but since you get to decide which "biome" of targets you want to go for at the start, you don't waste much time going between the biomes. it's either: 1. water tower sniper route (roof guy, the sniper, crane guy, juice bar guy, and the entrance floor guy) 2. killing a mix of targets in the biker hangout and in the outside chill out area (food delivery guy, biker camera guy, sniper, juice bar guy, and roof guy) 3. killing a mix of targets inside the club and outside the club (Montgomery, catwalk dj guy, dancefloor guy, entrance guy + your pick for whoever else) 4. the meeting as the club owner 5. a really sporadic and uncoordinated/unplanned route where you're picking them off at random, with no real route between them 6. some crazy challenge run where you kill them all, or knock them all out to kill them all in all of these routes (besides the uncoordinated one) it's really clear which areas you have to visit and which you get to ignore, as well as where you're going to exit. radio tower sniper route? by bike. biker hangout and outside the club? either delivery scooter or the motorcycle. inside the club? depends on whichever fifth target you choose to kill outside the club, but usually you'll exit through basement. in all these scenarios, you're not moving through the boring staircase parts of the map, since once you kill the guys in the biome, you're good to go. traversal is one of the best parts of Berlin, since if you have a good enough route, you get to ignore basically the other 2/3rds of the map, and don't waste time going between them.
