I love your channel! I currently play on my phone mostly and prefer peaceful mode. But I like the idea of a “harder peaceful mode” as it were. ☺️

I'm glad you're enjoying the videos! And yeah, while I definitely prefer peaceful mode to play most of the time, it is nice to have a challenge to change things up a bit!

The "mutated" mobs are zombies and skeletons (spoiler alert), and the empty cell at the bottom of the igloo is in fact a zombie villager that can be healed by a weakness potion and a golden apple. The zombies and skeletons, which look kind of like Ancient Builders, are hostile towards the player and they also constructed explosive robots (creepers) to kill the player. The player has an immune system to not get "mutated" in the overworld, but piglins will become zombified and if illagers are already "mutated" they can't be mutated again by zombies. Villagers can get turned into zombie villagers but they can be cured.

Unreliable narrators at 5:43 are because if Minecraft want you to create your own lore, they won't give you the "accurate" information directly; they want you to make up information based on the "inaccurate" information you receive from the unreliable narrators because imagination makes up a big part of the game (I never seen piglins in real life, it would be cool if I did!).

Warped forests have endermen, which can explain the similarties between this biome and the end.

I was really looking for a mangrove forest next to a lush cave, so i can build an army of frogs and axolotls, and seed number 2 is my favorite, i really like that big spike at the beginning of seed 2, and i think im going to build my base there, great video man, you earned a new sub!

I really love this video, its such a unique perspective!! One thing i disagree with is how soul sand isn't made of souls, as the soul speed particles clearly show a soul being freed from the sand. The deep dark also somehow has a connection to souls as the shrieker has what appears to be 2 souls swimming in the top of it. But thats not knocking your theory i absolutely love the idea and agree that the state of things being the direct consequences of man-made pollution n stuff. Keep up the great work Update: immediately after commenting i got to the part where you talk about exactly that pretty much lmao whoops.

I'm glad you enjoyed the video! And no worries - I'd rather people comment while in the middle of watching an almost 2.5 hour video than not comment at all! Even so, I understand that my reasoning on interdimensional energy vs soul energy may still not be compelling enough to change people's minds anyway

I enjoyed this, very interesting perspective of the lore. I got two whole sessions listening to it! Thank you for putting the time and effort into it, God bless! Also, given that inter-dimensional travel has a black and cyan color palette, and we are considering the soul sand/soils as contaiminated by this radiation due to the fires they emit, perhaps the multiple shapes (the faces in soul sand) we see could be evidence of the mulltiverse nature of the radiation warping the formation of this substance and indicating multiple worlds rather than souls.
@AmaranthineMaskАй бұрын
Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for the sub! As for multiple worlds, while I know the joke updates are meant to be jokes, I can't get that one with all the different dimensions out of my mind - would be very cool if we could get more dimensions in Minecraft!

I remember it was said that Hoglins avoid warped fungi because they smell bad making the hogs undesirable for breeding.
@AmaranthineMaskАй бұрын
Yeah, I had forgotten about that when making the original video - I guess interdimensional energy contamination could explain why it smells bad?

I didn't even notice this and the previous duplication video shared "talking about" in the title until after I'd scheduled it for posting. If only I'd done that for all of the preceding duplication videos - would've made for a much better playlist name...

I mean, inter-dimensional energy is kind of magic anyway. But also, I don't see why soul energy and inter-dimensional energy can't just be the same thing if we assume a magical explanation. Like, souls could be made of the same energy or something. But that's also just based on nothing, so yeah

The best real life counterpart arguement I've heard for Redstone is that it's copper oxide, which I guess would act differently than other variants of copper? But yeah, copper oxide apparently is a red like dust, so... sure

Just discovered you and binged the series. There's definitely a myriad of interesting and unique ideas you've presented and as someone who believes in the beauty of peaceful mode, I'll definitely check your other content. Just a note, but while I don't think peaceful brakes the lore, it does feel like an empty version of other modes, being more like an empty paradise enwrapped in liminality. There just ends up being too many holes in lore and something like a spawner or igloo would not be understood as spawning something or that it's curing and not just a crazy scientist trying to make them powerful. In my opinion, peaceful mode should be approached in unique ways as a form of Minecraft which instills beauty in ways nothing else in vanilla or to my knowledge even modded does, maybe except bliss. In any case, I'm just glad there are so many ways to play the game and that there are creators who show to the world the ways enjoy it. I hope your channel only continues to grow and reaches more and more likeminded people.

can you make a seed in which you showcase flat lands for building? it will be helpful to many as its kinda rare finding flat terrain to work on after 1.18 :)
@AmaranthineMask3 ай бұрын
Good point - even plains are now a lot more "hilly". What do you consider to be a decent "flat" area? It's impossible to find something that generates as flat as a superflat world, but I have found areas that are about maybe 100 blocks across with height changing by about 4 blocks or so.
