What Were the Nether Fossils?

Fun fact: if you go into the files you can find just the fossils and if you connect them correctly you will uncover a mob that looks quite like the snuffer

This went deeper than expected with the bacteria, interesting as always! Its a weird I was studying bio magnification recently in Bio class. I always was under the impression that the fossils were in the soul valleys because some ancient builders waged a war against some monsters, and the soul sand/soil was like blood-stained ground that had absorbed the souls of the warriors and contaminated it, but I think this theory is better. Keep up the good work!

I'm really glad you enjoyed the video and the theory! The whole "war with monsters in the Nether" theory seems to be really popular, especially with trying to explain how energy works in the Nether. I have more theories for the Nether, but I need to give that dimension a little break to look at stuff in the Overworld in order for those theories to make sense. I'd almost wager that the reason no fossils in the Nether have skulls is due to the fact that they're probably either Ghast's or Strider progenitors'. Two mobs that are probably just "ribcages" and cartilage.

The fossils might be from ancient withers, but their heads are in the overworld since the nether is like the mantle.
