Why wouldn’t you cook the pasta before adding the beans? Simpler and one less pot to wash plus the pasta would also slightly thicken the broth. Mashed potatoes flakes can also be used to thicken.

These are no Kaiser Rolls, they are simply rolls with a cross cut into them. Kaiser rolls don't have a cross, they have 5 segments that are stretched and folded when done the traditional way. They still have 5 segments if you use a cutter.. Also the dough differs, too, the malt is missing and oil has no business in Kaiser rolls either. It's butter that's added once the dough comes together. The rolls in the video may be tasty, however, they have no shine and the wrong shape... Why call it Kaiser rolls? Just call them rolls and all is well.

Hard to tell how good they are without seeing the inside. Are they light or very dense? Good job but needed to see the final roll.

my mama used canned beans my whole life; deeeeelish! it is a quick peasant dish that doesn't require a lot of time or thought. when you are taking care of a household, a husband, and a slew of kids, sometimes using canned beans works. To suggest he change jobs based on one dish is quite arrogant and I dare say, ignorant.

You are the BEST! For a long time I was looking for the recipe in KZbin , there are a lot , but incomplete. Everyone show the dough but no one says how long the dough should be allowed to rest . I finally decided to do it. The result? Total success. THank You.

I would highly suggest you rise the bean before using them.
@everydayadventuresincookin14244 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and commenting! It really depends on the recipe I'm making. The bean liquid will certainly add more starch and sodium. If you're looking to reduce sodium intake it is certainly best to drain and rinse the canned beans.
