I feel so bad for Gale if you act go through with this. He’s made it clear that he doesn’t like to share tav, and that he’s uncomfortable with this. + he’s been groomed by Mystra since he was a little boy and always felt like he wasn’t good enough, and this just brings that all back in his face

I just went into my first playthrough of this and got to this scene not knowing he was talking about a cat(sorry Gale...Tressym!) and seriously thought he was talking about some female assistant. Then in the next breath he was telling me he liked my stink. LOL. It was hilarious. I am fully loving Gale.

It bothers me that we only get one kiss scene of Lucanis. Emmrick and Davrin had more! When we commit to a romance with Lucanis, we don’t even get so much as a peck or a hug

For the record, Gale does allow you to bring Halsin into your orgy with the drow siblings. So this scene is a bit incongruent with that.

Damn it now I have to make the perfect Tav for Gale. I'm a habitual Astarion romancer and almost chose Halsin when he's available but stay faithful to the Vamp. Now after seeing this I feel like the forest scene with Astarion was lacking...who knew Gale had it in him? It's always the booky nerds!😂

People comparing gale to astarion is why he seems so cold. Gale is not bad its just that Astarion is better. he is touch starved love starved and so he expresses his feelings in such innocense like he himself doesnt belive he cares for you like damn it surprises him too. gale on the other hand is more ration and controlled so there is no comparision.

I think it's ironic for him to be acting like this while also spending a lot of the romance reminding you he still has feelings for Mystra and that she's a goddess. So while you can't get a second fiddle. You will always be his second fiddle.

So i got this dialogue right after beating the Act 2 final boss, while standing in the throne room filled with people. Which was odd enough (I assume Mystra was into him for his audacity more than his timing).... but I also _wasn't romancing Gale at the time,_ and had never romanced him before, or ever brought him to that fight. So I didn't know what the hell was happening - I _was_ romancing Astarion... who was just awkwardly standing in the background looking vaguely confused while Gale started asking my equally confused Durge about sex books Genuinely thought Gale was just being awkward until he asked me to break up later because apparently he'd decided I was cheating on him. Due to what i assume was some horrendous off-screen blow to the head, we continued to break up for the rest of the game Because he never seemed to remember it had happened One of the more entertaining and baffling bugs I've ever experienced

I got this right after defending Isobel and I can’t tell you how hard I laughed (picked the ‘what are you saying exactly’ option and was not disappointed lol)

I have some strong objections about this plot point. First: The goddess of magic looks incredibly bland. Her face is an asymmetrical mess. The way Gale had described her, I was expecting the most beautiful woman in the entire game. But she's just... average. As a portrait artist, I feel somehow deeply offended by the mundane imperfection of Mystra's features. Second: She's acting like your boss' boss who makes their appearance twice a year at company meetings, greets you with superficial pleasantries, and always addresses you in regard to your work function, not as a human being. The entire interaction didn't contain even a hint of a former romance between the two - or that they even knew each other well, or even spent any significant amount of time together. This is beyond merely "toxic relationship" or something similar, it literally breaks immersion. It *completely* contradicts everything Gale has been saying about Mystra up to this point. I'm not even frustrated, I'm just confused. Overall - badly written dialogue, badly presented character. The whole thing is underwhelming.

Intresting, in my playthrough Mystra brings up they were lovers and he throws back at her how she had no right to ask him to kill himself.
