Фиксатор для заточки , говорит о рукажопости человека , не умеющего точить. Надо держать затачиваемый предмет под нужным углом заточки и не менять его при движении. Если при движении сменить угол , и менять постоянно , то и получиться рукажопая заточка , она же круглая

tightened knob with left hand so that you never reach across the cutting blade. you are defeating the purpose of making that holding jig.
