You said you were making a box joint. That's nice, but not a box joint.

A box joint would be along the end grain - these are half-lap joints. This process is cumbersome - there are far better ways to achieve these joints.

This is clever if you do this type of joint a lot. I would personally want to do this with a router. Much faster.

CA (super glue). He first sprayed the actuator on the other piece, then applied the glue. Without the actuator, it would take much longer to cure. Hope this helps.

Same as a Metabo. The name on the saw is the parent company to Metabo HPT or Hitachi
