Thank you for this! I started work late because of maternity leave, and I hate how the sub did my student's binders! 🤦🏾‍♀️ it's too much, and students are losing their papers or not turning stuff into where I have to dig for it in their binders! I don't have the time, not patience for that anymore!

Do you have hybrid this year? How many students do you have in class? How many are online at home? Our school has grown a lot this past year, so we have 40 kids in a classroom. I wish I could have a classroom library like yours. Your room is gorgeous! So fun to see other classrooms!

As a teacher, I can only imagine how tough this past year and a half has been. Children love their teachers, even when they don’t show it. Truthfully, teachers, professors, guides- when you hold the card of being a mentor, a light, an answer, an option, another voice- you hold more power than you know. Your heart is in the right place. But you absolutely have failed students, without even realizing. Your experiences as a White woman, clearly from a well to do background, are not automatically equivalent to any other white person’s life experience. And you naively assert that your experiences aren’t the same as families whose skin color differs from your own. As if it isn’t possible or rare. How dare you. You spoke about growing up and only having a handful of other people that didn’t look like you around. Yikes. That sounds like an incredibly sheltered upbringing. Your parents were able to pay for the school they sent you to? Wow- what a treat. You don’t speak for White people, you don’t speak for non-white people- you speak for yourself. And if you feel bad or guilty about what you have, by all means do the work to get past it, but don’t for one second act like YOU are a guiding light that everyone should follow. You actually make me sad. Because I’m sure you’re an amazing teacher and person. But you’ve allowed a trend to make you hate/doubt yourself, and it’s going to show up in your work with children, and you’re going to make some children really confused or really doubtful about their own abilities and lives. Do yourself a favor, stop. Take a breath. Ask yourself who you’ve really hurt. What are you really trying to prove or accomplish? If your heart is in it for kids- you’re going down the wrong road, I promise you that. Good luck

Coming from a student- Everybody hates virtual and only the students who like learning will respond, most stay back. It’s super hard to keep students engaged online pretty much impossible since even I a student just hate online. It’s boring and it feels useless doing something “fun” the teacher tries to do. I respect you people though for trying your best, but there’s no point.

Hi there - Love your videos and creative ideas. I want to purchase the TPT items and have a question. When I print the documents to make copies at school, are the sizes preformatted to the Composition book sizes or are they full 8.5 x 11? Would I shrink on copier or are they already two per page?
