Miss Sandra Dee was before my era. But when I saw Gidget the first time, I never missed a chance to watch it again, whenever it was shown on television. With the inventions, beginning with VHS tapes and now with DVRs, I can watch it when I feel like it. This is the first time I’ve seen these clips from “Sally Jesse” and hearing about her terrible young life, I’m so surprised that she lived as long as she did. Because of this, it makes me happy that these other celebrities made time to be there for her. I hope she realized that she was loved and cared for who she was.

My sister, who is 15 years older than me, and of that era was so in love with James Darren that she’s still in mourning over his death (at present time was 5 months ago).
