Does anyone know of an affordable guitar with a Floyd Rose that already comes with a Sustainiac? Or how much would it cost to install one separately on a guitar? Thanks!

Wrecking Crew stole my generations music and inserted old people faking to be young players, for that I hope they all go to musical hell because the put my geration thru heĺl with their candy ass fake rock... and lied to us as if those bands age 16 were playing at that 30year old professional level.. it made us young people feel retarded a because we were only 15 and couldn't begin to play that level. Most of us gave up playing because of them faking us out like they were the young kids when they were age 30... theives of the lowest kind , stealing our musical futures to make union scale and rewriting history, killing the music that would have been made by our youth. Too hell u go, , a musical hell awaiting all you thieves involved

There's a 'remix' button here... does that mean this video is available to pull down and split into stems so we can play with the mix ourselves?
@RickHollis
@RickHollis 15 күн бұрын
No, but you could rip the audio and drop it into Logic Pro X which now has a stem separator. I might still have the Pro Tools session somewhere to share the track if you’re keen.

I read somewhere that he was only worth 1mil... too bad he didn't just a 1/4 penny rights on sales . He'd be living real real good ..... I know everyone thinks a million is good . But it's nothing today if you live in any big city.. I think the wrecking crew got screwed pretty bad

Hi Rick, looks like you’re using the fryette power station with the syn2. I am considering getting the same setup but still on the fence about what power amp to use. I’m curious to know why you ended up choosing the power station over the syn5050?

Keep a thumb pick handy! Learn to use it - you'll never regret it. Last Train to Clarksville was mentioned a few times, he wouldn't have been on that gig if he didn't have credibility already. It would be interesting to use it as a marker and discuss his career before, and after.. Thanks again! Get the thumb pick! muck about.. Jorma Kaukonen and Hot Tuna did that for me.

A great explanation of the technology, but not enough playing and the guitar sound recording doesn’t sound fantastic. Not a reflection of the players at all I’m just not excited about the tones. I’m hearing and wonder what you’re recording setup was?

All your Synergy demos are an invaluable resource, so thank you for those! I would love to know how you compare these two classic preamps to some of the Synergy modules? Which modules would you say come the closest to each of these? Are there any Syn modules that you would say "blow these out of the water"?
@RickHollis
@RickHollis Ай бұрын
Thank you! You're gonna love what I'm editing at the moment - back to back comparisons of all the modules, double tracked over bass and drums in a 4 bar re-amped loop. I have compared the ADA to the Synergy gear, and it sounds "scratchy' in comparison. Sounds like a good idea for another video while I have the modules here. 80s vs 2020s MIDI Tube Preamps!

I appreciate the opportunity to watch this but - a better job could have been done making sure both his hands were clearly visible, and I get this isn't necessarily a guitar tutorial some time explaining his technique and showing what's going on with his left and right hand seems like it would be appropriate.

It’s like Steve Vai vs. Guthrie Govan. Comes down to a preference musically. For me, Sammy all the way. He’s probably the pinnacle of rock guitarists these days. Shout outs to outstanding runners up: Jommy Poledda, Sophie Lloyd, Kiki Wong and Joonas Parkkonen. 🎉 🎸

A lot of guitarists have a story of the one that got away .Would you like to hear mine?Well it was about a 77 Les Paul Custom I bought in 88.It was in the Sacramento Bee for 500$It had a plain maple cap on the body and it had a matching maple neck with all the abalone.All gold hardware and black pickguard.And it was heavy as heck.I seen one on the net recently.8800$.It sounded great.Miss it.
