listen to the climax of this concerto, the finale of his 3rd concerto, and the 2nd movement of his rhapsody on a theme of Paganini... sometimes I'm suspicious if Rachmaninoff secretly was god himself, and came down to earth to bring back music to it's peak.

Wow. An amazing performance by a terrific orchestra, conductor, and out-of-this-world pianist. The clarinet solos - superb. Khatia just rocks in this performance. Wonderful touch, sensitivity, and timing.
