There's a large buck on the side of the road not far from my neighborhood. He probably got hit by 1 of those trucks. A coyote has been eating at him for a few days right in broad daylight.

Absolutely love your channel ! The fact that you put God first means a lot to me. I have had a rough season as well. I’ve dedicated my entire season to hunting a specific buck, in My home state of Ohio. I have yet to harvest even a doe, for fear of bumping him off the property, but recently received word that he had been shot by another hunter, who had permission on the same property. He said the he didn’t think the shot was lethal, but the buck is MIA since then. I’m still getting some decent bucks on camera, and have since started targeting a mature 8 point. Had an encounter with him last week, but was just too dark to settle my pin. I’ll continue to archery hunt, and probably dust off the muzzle loader, for one final late firearm season. As for your content, I will continue to support, as long as you keep sharing it with us. Best of luck in the coming New Year, and keep your eye on the Eastern sky,God bless! ✌🏻❤️

What was the distant on that Iowa buck? I'm just curious 🤔 as I muzzleload hunt alot but not with the fancy CVA😊. I Shoot a .54 cal with 110 gr powder and a 435 sabot with iron sights. Because I can't get a scope mounted on it. But I have gotten good enough to drive nails at 120 yrds. Have shot some really nice deer, antelope and a bull elk
@_BuckVenturesOutdoors_15 күн бұрын
it was a poke but nothing the CVA couldn't handle :) & that's awesome, you're a much better shot than we are 🤣

Just my opinion. It’s because collectively as hunters, we have become more proficient killers. More people harvest bigger bucks each year. They aren’t making it to the next year. Everyone uses cameras and passing up the smaller ones to get the biggest on their property. I’m seeing the same thing happen in my area. Unless you have somewhere that is exclusively big enough that you can manage your herd or no hunting pressure, it’s going downhill.
@josephstephens385228 күн бұрын
Way to go gentlemen, two great bucks. It's good to plan and scheme to take specific bucks but it's also exciting when a shooter shows up out of nowhere.

24" min length for any barrel of a rifle that calls itself a varmint rifle. What is in the water in GA? CVA people must be high as a kite. 20 inch barrel, are you kidding me? No 22-250 should be sold in this nation without at least a 24 inch barrel. Same goes for any varmint caliber.

Is it worth planting beans with only a quarter acre plot. ?
@_BuckVenturesOutdoors_29 күн бұрын
Hi, it definitely can be but there is a real solid chance the deer will eat/destroy them before they can reach full growth unless you put a hot wire fence around. Then you might have a chance for them to make it to hunting season. It also depends on the number of deer you typically have on your place and how many deer will try to be eating on it. If possible, I would definitely try to have a larger area if that's a choice
