This just happened to me. I’m a new player so I’m very low on mileage points. I had bought the M4 safety car, and saw it was still purchasable, but I couldn’t believe it would actually purchase the same car twice, so I pressed purchase to see what the alert would be. Except there was no alert or check, it straight up bought the same car again… What a poor system.

ok its lesson time ... i beat this game more than 50 times ( even now in 2023) anywasy you lie a bit... you get the engine upgrade before each pathfinder so your v8 in defender comes at 3th or 4th championship....you said u got the v8 and at the end restarted championship becouse of rolling....you dont get the v8 until 4th championship...upgrades go in order...graber tires,auto diff lock rear,cross tires,,auto diff front...tractor tires... etc... engine upgrade is before pathfinder...AND NOTE !!!1 YOU CAN ACTUALY KILL YOURSELF IN THE GAME...during championship ( easy way is with the unimog ) drop from a high cliff direct on the roof.... possible with all cars but unimog is the easy becouse of the weight....u get disqualified with red croos showing on screen (u got hurt ) .....try it u will lough.... anyways i know this details since im a legit ultra pro in this game, there is no bush tree or a rock i didnt crawl over it... more than 50 times. so yes i know every single detail and order in this game

im a bit late to this game, but i just started playing a few hours ago, and came here because i didnt want the game to explain all this, i just skip everything, and oh boy, this upgrade system is the most realistic ever, you spend money on a upgrade, the mechanic is a gamble, you are not satisfied and intermediately grab another upgrade, wich is a gamble too because your mechanic its not from nascar, and then you just go to another mechanic to keep the gambling going until you car works, it blows up or you run out of money.

Yeah so I know I'm incredibly late with this, but this video helped me a lot, but I found a way to go even faster; rev your car to the max, but let go right before the green lights, then at the green lights floor it again. For some reason this gives you a better start. Still, great video helped me a bunch

I am still lost and have no idea how you do what you did in hate this game at this point everything is super hard it feels impossible to even have fun when playing this game when I try HARD I still get dead last I had so much hope in this game it looked funny but no matter what I do it's hard and not in a fun way.

Take your multiple cars and use them in different N classes, ie n400, n500, n600 etc. this way you have that familiarity with the car for different classes. I have multiple corvettes and Mustangs just for that purpose
