btw boost when you're in a jump in street races, the NPC's will never do it and you'll get a massive lead. Wait until there's about 400m to the finish or when the opponent is catching up before you boost. I did this in a drag race with less Perf points than recommended and still won by about 1 second this way.

Yeah so I know I'm incredibly late with this, but this video helped me a lot, but I found a way to go even faster; rev your car to the max, but let go right before the green lights, then at the green lights floor it again. For some reason this gives you a better start. Still, great video helped me a bunch

turns out i had to add just a lil dead zone to the throttle, I removed it cuz i like to have as much control as possible but it was a bit too much for the controller. indeed im an idiot
