Osaka is gritty and in your face. I love it there so much because the locals are more real than the clean Tokyo.

I disagree with "Japan's most emotional song" because of songs like Yasashii Seikatsu, Akegata, Shasou Yori and Kibun (all by Kaneko Ayano) or Omajinai (by Hitsujibungaku) or Ashikubi (by Kinokoteikoku). Do love a good emotional song though.

I remember the music video popping up in my recommended, never heard of Vaundy before and I haven't listened to any of his songs. The only reason I clicked was because I was wondering if that was Nana Komatsu (the actress in the MV) in the thumbnail, and I was right. Safe to say I got pulled into a rabbit hole and have been listening to Vaundy ever since. So glad this was the first song of his that I listened to, even made a playlist with the vibes of odoriko.

I was listening to those “Try not sing these 100 OP/ED” vids and I cracked at Daten. Never heard of it before. I looked up the anime and ended up watching the whole season, and have been following the band since. I had similar experience with Idol and Oshi no Ko - first listened to the beginning of the ED from gigguk, then watched the anime, fell in love with Idol.

Well, their OP of Dandadan just match their band name perfectly.

"odoriko is so underrated" and "omg i cant believe someone else listened to it" like im not trynna be no music snob but can yall learn the fucking meaning of the word underrated, hes one of the biggest artists, in the second biggest music industry on the planet, odoriko literally has 100million views only on youtube. like can yall just stop using the word underrated and just say its a good song? because its quite literally the opposite of underrated.

I was pleasantly surprised when I heard this at the end of Bocchi the Rock. It fits the anime perfectly. Ajikan has an entire vault of great songs. Personal faves would probably be Love Song of the New Century, Standard, and No Name. Hopefully more of them get rediscovered and give them their well-deserved recognition someday.

I listen to a lot of different music. I mostly enjoy EDM, alt rock and indie, in that order. Ever since I first heard AKG 20 years ago, they have been my favorite band in the whole world, bar none. I consider WorldWorldWorld to be a perfect album, and this song has always stood out on it. So happy to hear it has had new life breathed into it. BTR has been on my watchlist a bit too long now!

I've listened to this song countless times ever since the music video was released, and all I can say is that you have done a great job dissecting the song's and video's meaning. Komatsu Nana's performance, together with Vaundy's vocals, makes it intoxicating to listen again and again. There's just something about it that urges me to come back and drown my thoughts with the music it wants to convey.

I started listening to this song during the summer when my friend got into a relationship and I was kind of a third wheel to that relationship. However shortly after, they broke up and now whenever I listen to this song I just think about their relationship. Thank you for covering this song.
