Zutomayo is my favorite artist, because as a bassist, i cannot thank her bassist enough for making the bass part for every songs the most creative bass lines i’ve ever heard. This discovery made me a much better bassist, inspiring me to make my own music.

ACAね is one of those geniuses who can do it all, -Singing effortlessly with her unique vocal character and ability, -Write a song and its lyrics, Not just simple lyrics, but subtle and meaningful with a lot of wordplay. -Playing instruments, I would say at delicate level of playing. -Fashion styling, A lot of times, concert props and ZUTOMAYO’s looks are styled by ACAね. Her fashion sense is immaculate. -Being cute while being cool at the same time. I love her for bringing ZUTOMAYO to what it is right now. Honestly, I’ve never had an experience comparable to what ZUTOMAYO offers with any other artists.

I honestly thought this was a topic of prehistoric KZbin on fandmade AMV edits lol. But that's really cool. Listened to a lot of zutomayo but never have I watched the AMVs, or pretty much any for that matter, as I just ingest all music through spotify. Great video!

I ended up finding out about these artists through a Netflix show called "Adam by EVE" an old friend showed me more about EVE and ZUTOMAYO, never regretted it since. They have such good music. Now I've become even more of a fan because of this video, thank you!

Even though zutomayo is my favourite band, I'm not really sure every work aca-ne does is her own original idea. Especially the art style, pop-funk elements in the songs and fascinating concerts since music industry in japan works with big team and a lot of R&D I believe there should be secret heroes too asides from her.

You’re missing a good amount of lore but okay lol Imo videos on jpop artists who don’t show their face cant really do them justice without knowing how vocaloid works. acane essentially collaborates w vocaloid producers for all arrangements (and that ofc makes zutomayo’s music heavily vocaloid-influenced, same for eve (who began as an utaite) and yorushika (n-buna was a vocaloid-p). I don’t think she’s inspired by eve at all, but vocaloid in general (she herself has said she’s a big fan of vocaloid and so invited her vocaloid-p friends when she decided to found zutomayo)

Tbh there isn't a ton of actual "lore" to the MVs off the first 2 albums. Each MV is mostly self-contained with a few exceptions, but even then they mostly only stick to referencing MVs by the same animator. I'd say it's not until Kan Saete Kuuyashiwa or Neko Reset where there actually starts to get some connective tissue beyond metaphor or references. Even then, I feel like a lot of it wasn't explicitly clarified until the card game.

It's "Saturn", the really early version that is. There is 2 version now, the recorded album version available on all music platform and acoustic version only available here on youtube on their official channel. And also a live performance one from ZUTOMAYO FACTORY concert, It's also available on their official channel. It was phenomenal. She was reminiscing about the day when she was singing alone in the street until now where she managed to do tours and big solo concerts with ZUTOMAYO.
