Angelique was equally Tragic because for All her schemes..No one loved her. Not Barnabas or Quentin. Angelique hated herself.

I always found Laura Stockbridge Collins to be a Fascinating character. Men weren't her Goal.. getting her Children was.🔥💯

Julia should've stood behind her threat and sent Willie back to Windcliffe. He was brought home way too soon. Barnabas destroyed any admiration and respect Adam had for him by beating him with his cane. 2 other times I recall was beating Willie in the early episodes and the 1897 storyline where Barnabas had to beat the werewolf when he and Edward Collins were in the woods.

If only Joshua could have destroyed Barnabas. Maybe in time his broken heart would have mended. But, his love was stronger than his faith to do what was right. Poor Barnabas. He hated what he was

This show was a classic watching it as a kid on a black and white TV screen (remember those) and now watching it's still enjoyable and brings back good memories.

Im a huge fan of this great series. I didnt see it as a child. I was born in 1970. When started watching it, I wasnt sure what to think. It was a great comedy because of the screw ups and the crazy stories. And also a great soap which it was supposed to be but with vampires. You can easily love the characters. Theres probably no forgettable ones. You certainly cant forget Grayson Hall she was brilliant in this.

Well of course: and that at least, both Barnabas and then Joshua had enough consideration to free Ben and had enough consideration to admit that Barnabas is a bad person in killing anybody and instead of Joshua is to shoot Barnabas in the heart just as Barnabas wanted it to be so, Joshua had Ben to chained up Barnabas up in the coffin.

Whittle's Hill was he very scary place to be I called that area a kill zone I'm afraid of heights I don't think I would have had cuts to jump off LOL I grew up with dark shadows by my parents a very awesome TV show to watch Barnabas Collins with always my favorite character so was Quentin Collins Angelique was a beautiful but at the same time spooky lol.

The 1795 story line and the beginning of Dark Shadows where the best. How Barnabas became a vampire, and up to the time he is chained into his coffin. Also what let up to him being released from his coffin. Excellent acting and episodes.

I thought that was one of the Funniest scenes. Maggie actually saw the Ghost of Quentin Collins, runs and tells Elizabeth, who with David went back to the room and David convinced his Aunt Elizabeth that it wasn't Quentin that Maggie saw. It was Mr. Juggins. After that I think Elizabeth was inclined to believe David over Maggie.
