I'm probably reading way too deep into this, but I find it interesting that the Miracle Spring Water was connected to such a disastrous event, fictional or not. It seriously gives me like... Old Testament God vibes. They choose to cheapen His grace by selling fake "miracle water", so He cursed the water as punishment. That some a that Old Testament Wrath of God type shit. Bravo, my dude.
