Hi, thanks for a great video. I changed my battery but I think I did pulled out the keyboard connector somehow since the keyboard stopped working. Before the battery change the keyboard was working fine. I took me some while to even figure out what that part was called: keyboard connector. Maybe I have not pushed back the last thing you did... What do you thing have gone wrong?

Well, I have an sad update for my installation of an aftermarket tumbler yesterday. For some mysterious reason to me, the ignition will not start the car with that in it, or using a screwdriver. At first it did start the car, then it took several attempts, acting like a low battery, then it just quit all together. Same with using a screwdriver to turn it after I took the new tumbler back out. I ended up putting the original back in, and it worked right off. Twice I disconnected the battery for reset computers but for what reason I had no clue. It wants the original tumbler. If I wasnt tired of fooling with it, I would take it back apart and compare the tumblers with a microscope. STill this is a good video. I would like to hear any explanation though, and the maker of the video only talks about going to the dealer.

This is an excellent video! I just finished changing out the ignition lock cylinder in my 1997 C280. The 97 has a lighted trim ring so it hangs by its wire while you work on the rest. Not a problem though. It also has a subtle flat spot on the top of the cylinder holder which helps with the orientation. I bought an aftermarket cylinder for less that $20 (tax and shipping and 2 keys included). I really would have struggled with this, If attempted it at all, without this video. Thank you very much. And I accomplished this with far fewer aspersions cast upon the inventors of automobiles than usual. Of course for that price I now have a different key for the ignition than the doors and trunk. But, I can still redo it with with a dealer part if I find that a big irritation.

Also works on a 2015 s550 coupe my screen was stuck on trying to pair Bluetooth from me accidentally pressing the phonework button right by the dome lights bad place to put them because in the dark looking for the right buttons is crazy

Note - for my E200 you can only access this menu if you're on the digital speedometer menu, and not on the temperature one

This really makes me mad, the micro-screws on the back get stripped, then what do you do? I don't think anybody has made a tutorial for removing that screw!

I have a 2010 Mercedis Benz C300 and the passenger seat is stuck, only move's halfway forward and cannot remove back screws to take seat out. The switch to the side seat only lowers the back and not the bottom. it seems like one side only move's halfway forward and stops. like something is stuck under the seat. any advice, I would appreciate

To everyone still having issues after doing his recommended repairs... these TSI 2.0 engines have a major issue. They are direct injection which causes carbon build up on the back of the intake valves, they are basically not being washed by the sprayed gas so black carbon slowly builds up. I've see it. Up to 1/8" thick. There is a process to help break it down without having to have the engine opened up and blasted with ground walnut shells. You can find it here on YT, read the comments for even better methods/suggestions.

I have my SD card and I was wondering if do you need to get a new one or can you use the old one cuz I have all the photos and videos on the old one and data do I put no one or old one hopefully new one don't want to lose it

Where did you get the coil packs?

For anyone curious. You need a 2.0 tri-point screwdriver and 000 Phillips screwdriver. The 2.0 is for the four plate screws on the back.

A previous commenter said this and it really helped me, make sure the pins on the little yellow square are lined up perfectly and they will click on so it’s not loose. You don’t just place it on top you actually have to click it in.
