I have my SD card and I was wondering if do you need to get a new one or can you use the old one cuz I have all the photos and videos on the old one and data do I put no one or old one hopefully new one don't want to lose it

Where did you get the coil packs?

For anyone curious. You need a 2.0 tri-point screwdriver and 000 Phillips screwdriver. The 2.0 is for the four plate screws on the back.

A previous commenter said this and it really helped me, make sure the pins on the little yellow square are lined up perfectly and they will click on so it’s not loose. You don’t just place it on top you actually have to click it in.

Thanks for posting this. Could not have replaced mine without it. Good tip to drop the window, and replacement mechanism down a couple of inches as it makes the glass retainers more accessible. I popped the with unit off the door card to help with that at re-install stage.

Worst mechanic to exist lol

Before you replace ur reader make sure its connected well and if it keeps disconnecting when you hold ur switch put some sticky tape over the connector and reader (not the part when sd card goes in, put the tape on the top metal part). I did this and so far it works well.

I have a 2017 AMG 450 and my sound isn’t working. This happened before and after a few days just mysteriously came back on and worked for a month and a half . It went off again . I tried the infotainment reset but sound still didn’t come back on. Any other tips?

I would like to point out that disconnecting the battery with the ignition turned on can damage the engine control module. The correct sequence should be: 1. Disconnect the battery 2. Turn the Key to position 1 3. Remove tumbler Do NOT turn the lock without the tumbler installed as it could damage the assembly! If you need to replace the complete module, do this as well: 4. Disconnect the plug from the ignition switch 5. Unscrew and remove the ignition switch from the lock assembly 6. Unscrew the clamp that fastens the lock assembly to the steering column 7. Push the pin on the lock assembly and pull it out of the steering column. You may need to rotate and move it around to get it out For automatic transmission cars only: If you buy a lock assembly at Mercedes, it comes without the plastic cam that unlocks the shifter. You need to get these parts from you old lock assembly and put it in the new one, otherwise you are unable to take the transmission out of the parking position. Please be careful, I will not be responsible for anything you do.
