@@DeceasedCrab That was my exact experience with it as well. I honestly didn't realize that I had to jump down through the floor to get there. I also got tripped up on the "Collect a star!" bonus missions. It took me ages to figure out that I literally had to pick up the star like a popoon.

You can tell a piece of media is made by an American in the 20th or 21st century pretty easily if a monarch raised under monarchy from a long line of monarchs decides out of nowhere at the end of a game/movie/episode to upheave the entire system of government and replace it with democracy. Going from a functioning monarchy to a democracy (especially a direct democracy) is a strict downgrade in terms of efficiency _and_ accountability of government workers. It also eats up time and mental resources of every citizen qualified to vote, as now during every election cycle they need to evaluate the history and policies of every official within their jurisdiction _and_ any local ordnances they need to worry about like spending tax money to build specific government buildings. People raised under centuries of no democratic representation will be overwhelmed by just how much more _outside their existing work and family obligations_ they now need to be concerned with, and these collectives usually don't make better decisions than other forms of government do. Once elections are in place at all, it takes almost no time for _somebody_ to realize he can run on "policies" of raiding the public coffers to bribe a majority of uninformed or cynical voters, raising the taxes on a propaganda-targeted minority to pay for it. This becomes a runaway cycle, especially if you allow people completely mentally unqualified for the democratic process to have a say. It may be "nice" and "kind" to have universal suffrage, but it's suicidal to the nation, the equivalent of letting a child drink out of the cleaning supplies cupboard just because they look colorful and are liquids. Basically this ending is stupid and ominous, but feels good to the politically illiterate middle class of America and their Monarchy Derangement Syndrome.

On that brisk spring day the gods gave ear to the cries of the people, and and as always a rousing "More DeceasedCrab!" was heard. And so the gods gathered together DeceasedCrabs from across the multiverse, and shared their skill and entertainment with all across the realms. For just a few short weeks the people rejoiced as they were raptured by the joy, skill, and artful complaining of the various forms of their savior; until at last finally it was done. Their work done, the DeceasedCrabs returned to their universe, and the people had gained a new cry: "Again!"

(11:42) Wow, you have so many relics, you now have to scroll to see them all. (12:34) Alright, it's boss time, vs. the d8 and donut! (16:34) Yep, just casually adding 120 damage worth of Shivs to your hand. (16:40) Flawless victory! (20:42) Spire Shield and Spire Spear defeated without taking damage either! (20:55) Alright, it's final boss of this whole archipelago time, against the Corrupt Heart! (24:55) Wow, 42 damage per Shiv now. Your Shivs are the answer to life, the universe, and everything. :P (26:28) Thanks to Thorns, the heart is about to deal 36 damage to itself, but it doesn't even have 36 HP left, so... GG! (26:35) Victory! And that's game! Congratulations! 10 down, 0 to go! And with that, this entire archipelago is now complete! (27:14) I like how there's a bonus called "C-c-c-combo". (29:40) Yep, I certainly enjoyed watching this entire archipelago series over the past few months alright. (32:13) Whoops, the "...and thank YOU for playing!" appeared prematurely. I'm guessing it didn't account for the additional credits for the Async version.

Quite a nice run - I'd like to see another Multiworld some other time if you're into it again! One game I've been trying recently that made me think you'd like is Crosscode - a action puzzler RPG with pixel graphics. It's like a mix of Crystalis and maybe Talos Principle. Got that right pace to the game that would go good with your commentary and joy in exploring the fiction/mechanics.
