Why does Lord Shiva invented Dance? Answer : To keep body ,mind and soul healthy, To enjoy farting on the top of mountain and to keep their Animals happy..... Also share a thanks to beautiful nature...... The leaves of trees always indicates us to enjoy dance, when they dance with wind...... But laziness keep us very far from this beautiful moment.... Almost felt like Bharatnatyam...that leg kicking movement is barely done in odissi ..please add more Odissi anga to it.. Odissi shiva karanas are a bit different ❤

These are Natyasastra karanas which are common for all dance forms . And there is always room for exploration in our dance forms . Bharatanatyam is very different than what you see here . These are purely karanas .

@@natyakalavidyalaya yeah but late gurus of odissi have never utilised such kicking movements in Odissi in their choreographies.. there are some steps which suits well some dance forms.. that's what I was saying
