(i used stt for this, sorry if anything's crap.) I remember that time I was with my friend at a sleepover. You were looking through these ringtones and I asked her not to play "Bright-Eyed" because the beginning part made me pee my pants every time I heard it. she use this to her advantage. in middle of the night, she managed to unlock my phone somehow. she is my alarm (Springtide) to "Bright-Eyed". so instead of waking up to a peaceful piano, I woke up to a terrifying choir. everyone could hear me poo my pants and scream really loud while crying while crying too. I told parents what had happened, and they said just do the same to her. So I did. On our next sleepover, I unlocked her phone. I went into her bedtime settings, ready to play Bright-Eyed in the middle of the night (iIt was her alarm.) the reason she's not scared of it it's because she's memorised when it will go off. so I know that she would also pee her pants if the alarm played unexpectedly. so at 1:27 am, I played it. Everyone could hear her poo her pants, as she silently cried along with it. Turns out she also was scared of it, but only when it was unexpected. She understood completely why I did it, and we both made the agreement to never do anything with the Bright-Eyed alarm again.

31 years ago today 16 years old I got in a car with a guy in hardly knew and a girl and her Mom is didn't know at all. Her Mother dropped everything to drive us from Louisville Ky to Dayton at the last minute cause the guys Dad dropped out. Whoever she was thank you what an awesome Mom. To be young again.

This sounds really good. Like if it were on Nevermind I imagine it'd be similar to this. Everything is so clear, and EQ'd well giving it a more 3-dimensional feel. More bass work, maybe. Or some slight drum reverb or panning? Well done though! What's KB stand for? Kurt's bored?

This heart-shaped box performance is like the transition from him singing the verses like on the record to doing that deep nasally sound in nearly all later shows. It's like the choruses are too hard for him to sing or when he reaches a certain decibal level, the strain makes his voice naturally go deep. You can kinda hear that theory at play on Sliver here. So maybe he preps his vocals on the verses with that deep, overly nasally vocal or he has to get quieter than the music to avoid that deep nasally vocal. I'm a singer, so that's my best guess. I've always wondered, and this performance kinda sealed that for me. I never bought that he did it to piss people off.

I used to absolutely love Eddie's, I was there pretty much every Fri & Sat night in the 90s, but sadly didn't start going til 94, as i was just too young, so i missed Nirvana and a load of other great bands too. I would have loved to have seen Nirvana in there, it must have been amazing. It's quite cool to know that i danced on the same stage just a few years later.
