Your soap came out beautiful. Just gorgeous...😍☺️ I'm new to your channel. You didn't speak much in the video. Did you do half melt and pour and half cold process?
@whitemilksoapandcandles Жыл бұрын
Yes correct l don’t speak that much in any of them , if you try it make sure your soap batter is thick enough to hold the MP

Thanks for posting. I’ve read that adding bicarb to a lye-based soap makes for an even harder cure. Did you find this to be true. I want to experiment but trying to do as much research as possible first to make sure there are no dangerous reactions from adding bicarb to lye/oil solution. It looks like you just eye-balled the bicarb amount here?
@whitemilksoapandcandles3 жыл бұрын
Didn't really notice a difference in tge finished bar adding it at the end is safer, l wouldn't add to lye
@xLynsieMarie3 жыл бұрын
Is that just dyed wax??? Also is it liquid color?
@whitemilksoapandcandles3 жыл бұрын
Yeah l added a little liquid dye to some melted wax

Hold on a minute. You still add sodium hydroxide which in layman's terms is CAUSTIC SODA so your siap is not as pure as claimed
@djawnsjhilson2183 жыл бұрын
Sorry to burst your bubble, but that's one of the only things you NEED to make soap. You need (1. oils, butters or fats), (2. water, milks, beers, teas, etc) and 3. sodium hydroxide. And that's it.
