I have DD Blancher Magnolia tree and I have it for a month it was planted in June 2021 but now the leaves are brown an not green has they where when purchase the tree. My question is how can help this Magnolia tree return back to green leaves. I have watch many videos on gardening some say yes Epson salt. i bought them last year for my shade garden, and they were beautiful color addition to all these hostas around :) i just watered them, no other care and they flowered again throughout the summer. they did seem to have little break in between two bloomings. i plan to buy them again this year, only in much bigger numbers

Mine has its flowers bloom then shrivel up and die and the edges of the leaves are slowly turning brown. Also when I tried miracle gro fertilizer the plant almost died and every flower actually die and all the leaves sagged and I barely caught it in time to flush the root system 4 times and I barely brought it back. So now my question is how do I keep it thriving? It’s in a pot in the shade with a little bit of sun. I water it twice a day and actually bring out the pot into the sun for a few hours and then water and bring it back into ten shade.
