This is the perfect lesson, perfectly paced, content entirely correct, does it all in a way so it's easy to remember. doesn't chit chat and go "uh, uh um." He just gets right down to it and shows us how to play the song. Excellent!!

There was a period of 8+ years, in the past, that when Steve was in town I saw him nearly everyday. Steve had a big impact on my sobriety, Even though I haven't seen him for years because I moved, I often think back to those days. I'm grateful for him. BTW I'm coming up on 17 years. Thanks Steve.

If you're having trouble with barres, don't push with the thumb, just pull the neck toward you with the arm. That's where the required pressure comes from. If you use this technique you can even play the barres without touching the neck with the thumb (although there's no need to do that). Never squeeze the neck, there's never any need.
